Batman's women

What do you think about the women in Batman's life . Which one should he be with ? Which one( s) does he really love ? Who would be a good match for him that he hasn't been involved with ?
I personally want him with Catwoman ,they have a very sexy relationship , and she can be a part of both sides of his life , both as Bruce /Selina and Batman/Catwoman . I 'm still disapointed Bruce isn't baby Helena 's father.
Talia is also a very interesting choice , another strong , dynamic woman who can be his equal .
I tend not to want him with a normal woman like Viki Vale or Julie . I don't know as much about Silver , I know she was a big part of his life a long time ago .

I always saw him with Selena, but Talia would work for me. I'm with you... I couldn't see him with a "normal" wife.

Selina is the only woman for him in my eyes really, I grew up with that pairing. However, if they're truly never going to be, I could see Wonder Woman being with him, I always liked that pairing quite a bit aswell, though it seems unpopular to the majority of Bat fans.


As for Talia, well... I COULD have seen him with Talia some time ago, but after she became head of Luthor Corp, and then the whole humping him while he was drugged up, getting his seed and growing his child in a tube... Uh uh, all I'd like from her now is to see Selina beat the living hell out of her and leave her dying in a ditch... Or better yet see Bats take advantage of all his connections to leave Talia flat broke, alienate her from all her connections and leave her up **** creek without a paddle.

Wonder Woman dating Bruce is interesting short term , but it can't work long term because they both have their own books . So does Selina , but at least she's part of the Batman franchise . I have no opposition to a story arc dealing with them being togather for awhile .

Probably Selena. I could have seen Sasha at one time, but she has moved on and now has a thing for Mr. Terrific.

Looking back, I like him best with Silver St. Cloud.

Of the current options, I don't know who I'd pick. I absolutely hated Sasha, and I see Selena as more of an on-again, off-again plot line. I can't really see him choosing Talia in the long term.

Katie Holmes 's ok in a cute tomboyish way , but I think Bruce would be more into an Alpha female , not a girl who looks like she should be his tagalong kid sister .Compare her to other actresses who 've played Batman love intrests : Michelle Pfeiffer , Kim Bassinger ,Nicole Kidman . KH wasn't avaliable for the new movie , she's been recast with Maggie Gyllenhyde (sp?) , who I still don't think is hot enough for Bruce , but I like her as an actress.
Do you think Rachel should be brought over into the comics ?
I haven't read anything with Silver , but I 'm going to get around to those old trades soon . I 've heard it said that Batman 1989's Viki Vale had a lot of Silver's character combined with the classic Viki . Silver was blonde , knew Batman's secret identity ...
How long has it been since Silver was in the 616 Batman ? I know Viki's in current AS Batman , how long has it been since she was in the 616 comics ?
Anybody want Silver and/or Viki back in the comics?

For me the only possible choice is Talia... Batman is too smart and cultured to ever be intersted in catwoman.. Bruce Wayne actually enjoys art, poetry, theater, etc.. He's well read and culturally interested. Selina is petty and cheap. she likes things because of what they cost.. she has no idea that something can have worth that isn't measured in dollars. Talia is worldly and smart. She's got a masters degree in medicine and knows several languages and cultures through her travels.

Chances are that Talia and Bruce have lots to talk about from politics to the arts. Catwoman would leave him intelectually bored. Bruce would say that he likes the paintings of Hans Holbein, and Talia would say me too.. I've got one in my dining room... ( snicker!)

I just don't think that Bruce could ever be with Catwoman as she KNOWS that so much of what she does is wrong. (theft ) talia how ever crazy she has been written as of late at least acts to achive what she thinks to be "good"...

Besides. There is nothing that Batman/ Bruce values more than family. Though Ras and Bruce don't see eye to eye but we know that Ras has always liked Batman and wished that they could be alies. I believe that Bruce has the same sort of respect for Ras. Like it or not they are alot alike. Talia's devotion to Ras is certainly is not lost on Batman.

Man.. listen to this nonsense!... Come see me at a convention and ask me about this one.. i can go on and on and on... the thoughts have no end.

By the way.. Batman wasn't drugged when he and Talia got it on... He was drugged when he was married to her, but clear headed afterword. Ret-con is DOOKIE!

I too think that Talia is Bruce's equal and she basically is supposed to be to Batman what Tracy was to James Bond. For those of you who don't know Tracy was Bond's wife.

As for Selina...well a few years ago I would have said absolutely NO! However my opinion has changed somewhat since Ed Brubaker and now Will Pheiffer have taken her on. Catwoman is no longer written as the hyper sexed 'hoochie mamma' Fan boy wank fantasy that she was years ago. Sure she's still a foxy mamma. But now she's longer relegated to the type of woman that men merely have sex with as opposed to date and eventually marry. As for her smarts, considering the fact that she used to be a socialite (read:'proffessional girlfriend' to rich men). I am sure that she knows how to hold a conversation in a variety of topics, and would be able to hold Bruce's attention. Whether he'd marry her is a different story all together.

Sasha by way did not make sense. I don't see Bruce being attracted to any woman who was less than smoking hot. Dick might go out with a 'plain Jane' (like Oracle). But Bruce no.

Ugh, Gyllenhall is going a few steps down from Katie Holmes (In terms of looks), and I wasn't happy with Katie Holmes to begin with.......Gyllenhall is definitely a better actress, though.

As for who Batman should be with, I'd go for Talia.

Damien was conceived in Son Of The Demon where Bats quite willingly nailed Talia. The drugging thing was a retcon by Morrison because he forgot how the events went down in SOTD.

I figure Wonderwoman would be the best match for Bats.

For me, Batman and Talia are the true couple. Catwoman and Batman never clicked. If anything she was just a physical distraction, I never got the connection between them.
