BONGO COMICS
Futurama Comics #32, $2.99
DC COMICS
Wonder Woman #11, $2.99 - not that Piccoult is doing a bad job, but the Amazons Attack crossover was bad timing for an outside writer to come on a "flagship" title - I would like to see her given a wider berth on another series - at this point, just holding on for Gail
IMAGE COMICS
Top Cow / Marvel Unholy Union, $3.99 - I like Marz overall, but the past few crossovers have been very weak (X-Men/Cyberforce, Punisher/Witchblade)
MARVEL COMICS
Amazing Spider-Man #542, $2.99
Annihilation Conquest Star Lord #1 (of 4), $2.99 - Giffen was talking this up at this year's New York Comic Con
Mighty Avengers #4 CWI, $2.99 - I just cannot get into the team chemistry, but I am giving Bendis a chance
Wolverine #55, $2.99 - I like Loeb, but this story just did not do it for me
X-Men #201, $2.99
ONI PRESS
Queen & Country #32 (resolicited), $2.99

Haven't done this the last few weeks. Too busy at work. I thought it was going to be a light week, utill I reach the indie section which has a lot of good books this week.
Marvel
Mighty Avengers #4: One Marvel book this week? I'll probably have a dozen next week. Still on the fence about this series but mostly enjoying it. Knowing that Bagley is coming in a few months helps. Maybe switch to trade on this.
DC/Vertigo
All Star Batman and Robin: I gonna give this one sales just to stop the haters on this series. I want this to be the most successful book it can be.
Green Arrow Year 1 #2: Liked the first issue, Jock's art was great. I love bi-weekly series.
Green Lantern Corps #14: Crossover fever bites me as I jump back on this series for the Sinestro story. Hopefully it's decent.
Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes #32: Giving this one a few months for the new team to shake out, but may go on the chopping block. Needs to improve from last issue.
Testament #19: Another series on the block. With the loss of Liam Sharpe on art, this could quickly get cut. It's been decent though.
AiT/PlanetLar
Black Diamond #3: Caught the first two issues and read them last weekend. Pretty decent, the art kind of looks like the style used in Richard Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly". It gives the book a realism. I'll pick it up if my store has it.
Avatar
Black Summer #1: It's Warren Ellis week, as we get two first issues, a graphic novella, and his novel, although I probably won't buy the novel, at least not right away. This is his story of a superhero killing the president. Liked the 0 issue enough, and I enjoy Ryp's art.
Doktor Sleepless #1: Warren Ellis #2. This one I'm less sure of, and am giving a try, but if it can't stay on schedule or I don't like the art, will get dropped. Sounds fun though.
Crecy: This is Ellis' graphic novella, a historical story. Don't know much about this one either, but I generally like Ellis' little experiments in comic form, so I'll give it a try.
Dark Horse
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #5: And all the non-comic Whedon fans can rejoice after the two month break. There was some complaining about the break on a Buffy board (yes, I'm one of those fans) I frequent, all I could say is "Two months, I've been waiting a year and a half for Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine. I can do two months standing on my head." God, I wish they'd change artists on this though.
Fear Agent, The Last Goodbye #2: Last issue was okay, but I hope this brings more sci-fi action. Art was great though.
BOOM! Studios
Warhammer 40k #6: I'm still enjoying the heck out of this series. Love the art and the story has come together.
Trades:
Uncanny X-men:Rise and Fall of the Shiar HC: Decided to wait on this and am rewarded with the HC. Heard decent enough things, and I used to be a X-men fanboy back in the day. Hope this rekindles the love.
