Is no one reading this or am I just retarded and missed the thread?

Honestly really enjoying this book, and if your not reading it you should be. Hope it doesn't fizzle like I felt the CW Frontline did.

I still hate this book.

"The SHRA is suspended, it's because they need you!!!!!"

No, stupid reporter, it's because the entire population of new York needs evacuating and whether or not thlaw was suspended or not shouldn't matter, if you're a HERO you don't let 8 million people die. If the government are able to put aside their own petty sentiment and do something like temporarily suspending a law so 8 million lives are spared, they should be COMMENDED, not blasted and insulted.

I also wish to register my doubts as to exactly how much Daredevil is needed to battle the Hulk.

I hope the revelation of who killed the robot is actually important to the main WWH plot and not some big let down that some one just offed him.

I still hate this book. Then why buy it?

I also wish to register my doubts as to exactly how much Daredevil is needed to battle the Hulk.To battle the Hulk directly, sure. But his knowledge of the city is invaluable and his skill to protect people who stayed in the city or who couldn't leave is equally priceless.

I liked this issue a bunch.

The purpose of this series is always to put a smaller perspective on these big events, and this is accomplished. Events such as the broken gas main and falling girl show this.

Now, the second arc with Danny Granville was good, too. I'm just wondering when this takes place. It can't be at the same time as the Sally Floyd one because at that time Korg is in the fight. I think that the killing of Archie the Robot won't be too important, but it will be interesting.

That is indeed an excellent question./

No, it's not. It's actually pretty worthless. The heroes are using telepaths to find everyone who goes, and most of those who stay are crazy people. I doubt DD will be of any use at all.

And this issue confirms my fears- the heroes are either IDIOTS or BIGOTS, because they don't care a jot about all these people who have been ditched.

But then, being actually faithful to the main book would have prevented Jenkins from trying to ram home his Katrina message.

Then explain War Machine's position in the Intiatitive ? :(

If he put an idiot like War Machine in charge of things, I'd say that's more evidence that he doesn't care about the Initiative.

'War is Heck" Part 2

Hulk lands near Captain Rectitude, and sees him surrounded by anti-Hulk signs

Hulk : Grrrrrrrrrrr!

CR : Shitting in pants, shaking in boots.

Hulk takes two steps forwards glaring , looming over CR

CR : ..... Do you want meat!!!?

Hulk : I'll give you meat, punk

CR : I have meat.

Hulk grabs giant chicken bone. Takes one bite. Spits it out.

Hulk : This meat is bad

CR : ..I can get MORRRREEE!!!!

This issue is actually very good, in it shows the Baxter Building fight; the vigilantes; the street gangs; and orphans saved by the legendary Daredevil, derided by Sally guess-who. Again, we see the Katrina reference, and how the poor and mentally challenged are left for dead. I don't know how you Americans deal with that. We here in Australia just ignore our racial minority, (most of the time, but when we do act, it's a beaurocracy. I think it's because we don't have any talent to address the people from their standpoint - my opinion).

The Korg investigation of Arch-E goes into day 2, with us learning it was Wonderman who jobbed Arch-E (Ion particles were detected just before Arch-E bought it).

Captain Rectitude, gets a nice chroming from his Shield buddies as Hulk begins invading earth. You got to like those Shield agents. They got a sense of humor.

Why would Wonder Man kill the robot on purpose?

That would be such a lame resolution: for Wonder Man to be behind it.

I'm not sure. That's a mystery, and Jenkins doesn't tell you until the last page of the series. I can only surmise, Wonderman was in the area, but not the one who blasts Arch-E, or, it is Wonderman, but it's a Tony Stark directive to obliterate the robot for his own neferios reasons.

Besides, Wonderman is one of the characters used by Jenkins in FL a lot, and so is Goblin and Stark. And Atlantians.

I'm sure it will all pan out when Sally talks with her bed-buddie, and he tells her about it. Then Sally can walk into Stark and say, he doesn't have any contact with the real world, and he should go on a road trip around America.

Let me guess Wonderman kills Arc-E because he is blackmailed with his dodgy money thing from the last Frontline.

When I read Iconic Energy, my first thought was, "Oh here we go with the Wonderman blackmail again" wonder what he will job to this time.

Can't beat a Goblin-bomb ko-ing him, when they can't KO Spidey most of the time.

I totally didn't buy that either... it's like a lot of writers recently decided that Simon was closer to Spidey level than Thor level for some reason. It's weird.

That said, I do like the fact that Jenkins is at least interested in the character. Even though he's not using Simon in the most flattering way, I'm hoping marvel will in general use the guy more.
