Uh-oh, touchy subject, I fear.

No, not touchy at all.

No, I don't believe we're getting paid for these. And, to be honest, I don't think the publishers incurred any legal obligation to pay us, considering we don't own the properties and they were probably sold to Disney with no strings attached.

Now, you can certainly argue that perhaps they should pay the creators something, but then again we should all have health insurance and all people of the Book should know better than to kill each other, but the world doesn't work that way.

So I'll just be happy if they collect the material in an intelligent fashion.

I knew they wouldn't have any obligation to pay you. In fact as i understand it, creators getting paid royalties for reprints is fairly new. I was just curious.

I too though am thrilled that these stories can live on in print. They were great stories which cemented my return to comics(and my large expanse into non-Marvel comics). We can all hope that it perhaps drums up enough interest for Disney to publish new material based on these properties.
