YES!!!!
Captain Carrot returns. :D
Even if it's only three issue, it great to see that DC hadn't lost it sense of humor or it love for talking animals. :D
Although how does this mini connect to Countdown ?

I really can't reveal that, but I WILL say that -- by the third and final issue of CAPTAIN CARROT AND THE FINAL ARK, all of the DC Universe fans who would normally (and in my opinion, foolishly) turn up their noses at funny animal superheroes will be desperately scrambling for the back issues of our miniseries!
Aloha,
Scott!

I am hoping that when - when, not if, right? - this gets collected in a trade, that the Oz-Wonderland War and those pages from Teen Titans will be piled in there with it.

I hope it's traded as well - I only read trades.
Seems fun, and makes me wonder what connections it has to the Crisis.
I'm very excited about this mini. I don't really care about its connection to Countdown. I just want to read a good Captain Carrot story.

Well, I'll admit that would certainly be nice!
But I kinda wince when I look at some of that old stuff. One reason I've been itching to do a new CAPTAIN CARROT project is that the original series was published about twenty-five years ago, and not to sound boastful, but I've learned a LOT about cartooning and storytelling in the meantime, and hopefully, it shows. A lot of the folks who've gotten a sneak preview of my penciled pages from CAPTAIN CARROT AND THE FINAL ARK have told me that it's the best stuff I've ever done. I sincerely hope you'll all agree.

Is Salamandroid going to be the only villian from the 80's to appear? I love me some Cheshire Cheetah and Solar Bear!
Seeing how this is a "Countdown" tie-in, is it too much to assume that the Justa Lotta Animals will pop up?
(In keeping with the new JLA re-launch, it would be neat if they fought Simian Grundy :D )

I still highly recommend people check out that stuff from 25 years anyway. :)
I've still got very tattered copies of #14 & #15. Loved that arc. :)

"This is a very important year for Captain Carrot," said Dan DiDio, Senior Vice President and Executive Editor of the DC Universe. "We are hopeful that this mini-series helps fully establish the Captain as one of the true heroes in the DC Comics pantheon."

this is how i think it ties to countdown.
captian carrot and the zoo crew are on earth 22( or what ever earth they want it to be). and then you figure out that ray palmer wasnt hiding in the nanoverse, but was hiding on what ever earth captian carrot is on.
now that would be cool:) :p

Glad there are new stories from the Zoo Crew! I'll be definitely picking this up plus the Showcase Presents as well cause i didn't have the complete series in the '80s.
Love the Zoo Crew Scott! They simply reminds me of my younger days when i just started reading comics. Totally fun and enjoyable! Hope we could see more of your Zoo Crew stuff after this mini.
