I'm reading Fables by trade, and this STILL excites me:

FABLES #66
Written by Bill Willingham
Art by Mark Buckingham & Steve Leialoha
Cover by James Jean

Flycatcher doesn't have much time to enjoy his homecoming as the final battle with the Adversary looms in the near future. Can he ready his army of ghosts in time to have a chance at victory?
On sale October 17 o 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US

One of these days I'll have to try another Vertigo title besides Fables and Y The Last Man. I imagine I'd like at least *one* other title they have going, but...well, you know how it is with $$$

And anyone know anything about The Vinyl Underground?

Aside from the usual Vertigo books I get, I will pick up VINYL UNDERGROUND.
Sounds like fun.

Seems like it could be a cool book, maybe along the lines of Phonogram with mystery as the focus instead of magic. As a record nerd as well as a comics nerd, it definitely has my interest piqued. Plus, Cam Stewart art is almost always a sure thing, and I liked Si Spurrier's writing on BoM: Life During Wartime once it became apparent what was really going on (which, unfortunately for that series, wasn't until after issue eight or so).

Vinyl Underground was the book that grabbed my attention most. A Noir title including supernatural elements. I hope this turns out as great as it sounds. And if so, that it is scheduled for a nice long run.
