All the Rogues look terrified or horrified to varying degrees, apart from Kadabra, who's face is "Yes! I finally killed a Flash!"
Man I need to stop reading these previews they keep making me impatiently hyped up.

that page with the rogues contradicts the Bart murder sequence in Countdown. In Countdown the rogues (except for Piper and trickster) look like their having a ball. they look horrified here, like they know they went too far. I always thought the original murder sequence made it look like they accidently overdid their attack in panic. I guess this explains why they didn't just kill Iris and Valerie

Karl Kerschl's stuff looks really good, his art is improving big time...i'm guessing the other preview is manuel garcia..looks pretty good..only down side to this would be the art by joe bennet and ian churchill...might have to pick it up...now the rogues might looked shocked because they finally remembered when a flash dies another one shows up and they know that a serious beatdown is coming their way...

Man I'm totally excited for this, and this is from someone who is started buying the book regularly with the Bart Allen Flash. Now with the whole current situation of Bart's death and Wally's comeback in Lightning Saga I'm more hooked than ever.
I'm still hesitant about the whole kids thing depending on how it'll be handled but I'm sure they'll be legacy characters in no-time with their artificial aging.

I loved Wally's kids in the preview, that way they clung to him and looked slightly scared of the other heroes. I mean, as good as they are all those superhumans would probably be sort of intimdating to see up close. It's a nice human touch that I think does wonders for the story and show how important the art is to telling a comic book story.

...which is odd, since he's the only one we didn't see on the page showing the actual murder, and he seemed to have no interest in killing a new Flash.

I wish Kerschl was the permanent artist, he is just a great fit for Flash. The rest of the pages look good too though. Should be a good read.

Hmm... guess someone forgot about Zoom. :D
Ditto on the can't waiting. Did Wally say his son's name was "Jai"? Is that like the futuristic way of spelling "Jay"?

my cousin is named jai. like the sport jai alai i assume. tho my cousin is in like an offshoot of budhist i think. so it's an odd name choice to be sure.

"Jai" can be used as a Korean name. I guess people forget that Linda is supposed to be Korean.

Or we didn't forget, we just don't know any Korean names. ;)
Too bad, that would have been a nice tribute to Jay. Oh well, no biggie.

So this book will have different artists every few pages? Seems kinda odd to me..
Will the continued FLASH series have multiple artists too?

I thought it was a tribute to Jay. Prehaps they choose that name for him because it's both a tribute to the Flash legacy and Linda's Korean heritage.

Man, by the looks at that preview it shows me that Wally return is going to be a blast in a flash. :D

I am so stoked about this. My only regret is that I'll be buying it in trade!
Here's to many great Flash stories. :)

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN....
Wally looks pissed! I wouldn't want to be in the Rogue's shoes right now. God, Piper's probably gonna wanna avoid Wally for the next millenia.

Wally will obviously flirt close to killing nearly all the rogues. I can see Jay Garrick showing up as in this tale stopping Wally from going over the edge. But a few rogues like Inertia will suffer some savage horrible beatings. I can see Piper and Trickster staying low as they realize Wally's on the warpath now . Hell one scene I can see in Flash #231 is:
Trickster: "Did you hear what he did to Mirror Master ?"
Piper: "No what?"
Trickster: "He used mirror fragments and threw them slicing McCullogh to the point he nearly died. Hell , you don't even wanna see what he did to Weather Wizard . Poor guy won't walk for months."

Did you read last week's issue of Countdown? They may not need to worry about Wally...

90% of the time, Korean names are two syllables, and if its siblings, then the first syllable of both names are usually the same.
The more you know :)

Waid mentioned in an interview a few weeks ago that the book was originally conceived to give the series' regular artist, Daniel Acuņa, more time to get started. (Presumably we would have gotten some of these events in #231, otherwise.)
It looks like each artist is doing a complete scene, at least: Kerschl's pages show Wally going after Inertia, Churchill's show the Wests family's homecoming, Garcia's pick up Bart's murder, etc. A much better approach than just doling out pages randomly, especially when there are so many different styles involved.

Unless all of the Flashes are in it why the name change?

It's just a one-shot transitional issue meant to wrap up the previous volume's storyline before the next volume begins (with a continuation of the numbering from the volume before the previous volume).
Or so I understand.

Cool...
Jay Garrick ....alive and all.
Barry Allen ..... who knows....they brought Wally back.
Wally West...... back with his kids aged a few years.
Bart Allen.....dead as a doornail.
John Fox...... somewhere in time perhaps.
