Loved it, I really like how they all have a past, and how each experience changes them. It's added a whole new aspect that was missing from the first serries.
Oh and the last panel with Grunge....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So great, and once again thank you so much for treating them like they were real. It's added a depth that most comics sorely lack.

That talk about the multiverse at the end....I hope this isn't going to be a countdown crossover.

The Search For Ray Palmer will include a stop in Earth 52 (Wildstorm)
Oh and I am betting that the Wildstorm reboot will be revealed to be a direct result of the return of the multi-verse.
Gail came up with a good alternate explanation for the name Grunge and his wing tattoo.
Nice view into Bobby's troubled past and how he's trying to change himself.
The super jealous boyfriend that goes nonstop after the guy that his girlfriend showed some interest in was a bit too cliched for my taste. Especially since Kevin and Ajita didn't seem so two-dimensional in Tranquility.
The Authoriteens being actually people rather than just a cartoon version of the Authority (as seen in Tranquility) makes me wonder how they came to be.
Looks like next issue might a three way rumble between all the teams. Not really looking forward to it, having that many superhumans fighting at once means powers don't get used the least bit logically or creatively and all you get are crappy splash pages of people standing around. I'm looking at you WW3, you piece of crap, that's why you released all 4 on the dame day cause you knew no one would pick up #2 after reading #1. God I hate myself for being such a sucker on that mini.

I just bought this today and I loved it!
Burnout is my favorite Gen13 kid (I love 'em all though) so I was psyched that we got his backstory and furthered his character development. I feel like he and Rainmaker were rather underdeveloped in the original series, so I'm really happy you're making good use of them Gail! The reggae bit was cute, and I was completely blindslided by Bobby's "colorful" past- I didn't see him as the violent type!
The issue, as the ones before it, has been a bit light on the action/superheroing stuff, but I do like that you're focusing on the characters first. And the subplots with Megan and Tranquility are keeping my attention so far as well. I'm a bit confused about that goth guy from the diner. Suzy/Kevin Richards? I didn't understand that- he didn't look like androgynous to me.
All in all, a great issue! As a big fan of the original series, I am seriously loving this one too Gail.
