Strong enough, with a firm warrior background, and even the benefit of an ancient society (and the long view of someone expecting things to largely remain the same for centuries needed to understand what Majestros does).

A Kryptonian would largely be redundant, Majestros is more powerful (whether DC will allow it or not), smarter than everyone other than maybe All-Star Supes, and has at least as good tech as the best the Kryptonians have available, though allying with the House of El has some benefits.

Maybe a Martian for the possibility of siring children that can out Daemonite the Daemonites.
