I have an idea for a jla story in which a new amazo comes to the past after defeating the entire legion to destroy the justice league and rest of earths heroes, they defeat him early on by sure luck but amazo just self repairs it self.

I don't mean to show any disrespect here but I do have to ask; what exactly would be the point of this story?
It sounds more like just an Amazo fans dream than anything else. I mean if it's an Amazo from a thousand something years in the future who, assumedly, has absorbed even more powers than current day amazo... Well, what would be the point of the story other than to see a god-like super powered android destroy the JLA?

Unless they created some cockamamy story with no real logic or rational to it there's no real way for the JLA's current roster to be able to defeat an Amazo who returned from a thousand years in the future, he'd be suc ha deus-ex-machina of a character that it would be sickening, and likely quite boring, to read the story.

Would he be called Nimrod? Or would he still be Amazo, because this concept sounds alot like the whole nimrod concept from X-men.
