I'm looking at this coming week's Marvel comics right now. There's an ad in there for "Marvel Toys: Legendary Comic Book Heroes." It's a series of action figures for Savage Dragon, Superpatriot, Ripclaw, Judge Dredd, Madman, and Witchblade. And, it seems, if you collect all six figures, you can "Build Your Own Pitt."

Ah, how times have changed.

I know!!! O.O I noticed this too!! I was like....WHAAAA??? But then again, licensing probably allowed some company to use Marvel's name to make toys for 'not so strong lcensed' comic book characters. :)

Marvel Toys is the former Toy Biz and I believe is still owned by Marvel.

Was that the ad that also had a Star action figure in it? I thought it a cool and odd moment at the same time. I'm not an action figure type of guy, but will admit that I bought one of the first versions of Superpatriot (maybe from McFarlane toys?).
