Seeing that we have a villains hall of fame, why not have one for the heros. Lets start off with someone most of you should all be familiar with.

The brave, strong, and courageous leader of the Autobots. Optimus Prime is one of, if not the greatest hero of the 80's. Hell, I know I was not the only who cried when he died in the movie.

So, who do you guys thing belong in the hall of fame.

probably the strongest man on Earth. His courage is unmatched. If a friend gets kidnapped he takes a boat, sails to a island full of incredibly strong enemies and kills everyone. If a innocent farmer is threatened by some evil landlords he kills em, and gives all their gold to the farmer's family. If he has to give away his life he does it without a blink
Crucified, blinded, tortured, his love kidnapped and probably raped by his arch rival, his friends killed..this man has seen too much and still fights for freedom

not a hero per se..but the coolest anti-hero probably!

That would require the wisdom of Solomon to answer. But I'm so glad you posted that clip, because it demonstrates the essential feature no 80s hero can be without: The synthesizer power ballad!
