After The Long Halloween and the second volume of Sandman, what do you think will be next before next year? After all there were 4 Absolutes last year, and it was stated the same number would be published this year (and probably the next ones too).
Since the first Planetary volume a second one was a given (has Planetary wrapped?) and The Black Dossier is delayed to next year. There's going to be a yearly Sandman volume and Dark Victory should follow next year too. I expect an Absolute All-Star Superman to be published, but only after a year or more (like New Frontier and Hush). Perhaps the same thing for Justice. I was hoping for Death and Return of Superman in two volumes, but DC decided for an Omnibus so it better be as good as the Marvel ones. Other good series that haven't wrapped are Fables, Y the Last Man, 100 Bullets and Ex-Machina.
What does this leave for now? My guesses:
*Swamp Thing. If DC is rushing an Absolute for Black Dossier, let's get the Alan Moore's run out first, then.
*Preacher. It would be 4 volumes. So what?
