I'm a huge fan of Marvel's Thor, has Thor for the DC showed up yet? If yes what is he like in the DC Universe
Thor, Odin and Loki all appeared in the Sandman storyline Season of Mists, outside of that I'm not sure as my DC knowledge isn't that vast.
As to what he was like, he reminded me of a more over the top version of Marvel's Hercules. Big muscular guy who enjoyed drinking, hitting on women and cracking jokes.

I've been wondering the same thing. Thor has always been a favorite of mine, I'd love to see him in DC

I believe he died in the Superman/Wonder Woman story arc where they were in Asgard for 1000 years fighting in Ragnarök and Wonder Woman wanted to get it on with Supes but he said no.

dc doesnt need a thor :p
DC does have their own Thor. He appeared in Justice League America, where he knew Ice, but I can't recall which issue it was.

Thor's extremely muscular, sexist, mead loving, and carries around a tiny hammer which he says can become bigger when he rubs the head.

Incredibly the last bit is actually faithful to Norse mythology, all connotations aside. You'd think Stan and Jack would've found use for a size changing hammer.

The Hammer became a walking stick in Marvel.

Not to go off topic, but how was that storyline? Sounds pretty interesting.

DC's Wildstorm line also had a Thor of sorts. At least that's how it looked to me when I skimmed through Thunderbolt Jaxon.

The Hammer became a walking stick in Marvel.Actually, it became a stick when Odin turned Thor into a human, and made Mjolnir a walking stick which he could tap one (or was it twice?) that would allow him to transform into Thor.

Mjolnir appeared without Thor in Planetary.

Not to go way off topic, but whatever happened to Blue Jay? And I'd like to see more of DC's hercules- i kind of liked him in his last Wonder Woman appearance.

Interesting since it's more like Marvel has a Captain Marvel...except he's Norse and is a crippled doctor rather than a little boy in his alter ego.

DCs Thor is much closer to the mythic Thor.

He was in Sandman, War of the Gods and its' Justice League x-over issues, and the Action story (where he did die, but came back at the end of the story...wacky gods...).

I just remembered another Thor, from DC's ABC line of comics. The superhuman police detectives of Top Ten were called in to investigate the murder of Balder, and Thor was one of the suspects. He was this big drunken jerk that got taken down brutally by Smax.

Just out of curiosity wasn't Marvels Thor and DC's Thor both written by Jack Kirby?

Thor and his buddies showed up to trounce the League during a WAR OF THE GODS tie-in. Apparently, the Amazons have aided Asgard before and WW is summoned again in ACTION 761 and Superman got dragged along. They stay there for a 1000 fighting to end the plague of demons called (something with a V). After they triumph the Gods and the realm are returned and Thor thanks them.

I like that he has the red hair in DC. I like the Marvel one's costume better though.
Thor has been seen in a number of forms in the DC universe thru the years:
During the 40s, a "Thor" battled the Wesley Dodds Sandman once. His hammer later appeared in the hands of the Ultra-Humanite. He may have been an alien in disguise, however.
Thor appeared a couple of times in Silver Age Superman stories, I believe; I remember at least one story where Jimmy Olsen went back in time and became his friend. (This version of Thor was obviously meant as a Superman stand-in.)
The Thor in the Sandman story where various pantheons tried to gain the keys to Hell was just used for a phallic joke. I don't usually count him.
The two Thor appearances I count as being in current continuity are when he battled Orion in the last New Gods series, claiming that the Asgardians had a connection to the Old Gods; And the one who battled the Justice League during the War of the Gods crossover (he attacked Ice's people.) I haven't seen the one in the Superman/Wonder Woman story yet, but something tells me that story isn't really in continuity (Supes and Wondy fight together for 1000 years and almost have sex? Naah.)

If you are referring to Jack Kirby's Fourth World, he fought Barda, not Orion.
Tigra brought him to Apokolips/New Genesis (fused at the time) due to his and all of Asgard's connection to the Old Gods, in the hopes that they might be able to stop/kill Darkseid.
It didn't matter, and Genesis proceeded as planned.
Interestingly, Thor also made an appearance at the end of v2 of the New Gods, by Mark Evanier.

Yup. As Naruto says, "I got pwned!" , not wait... "believe it."
it was a Supes annual, if I remember correctly. It was an interview that Wonder Woman was about to do with Diana, and red-bearded and wounded Thor showed up, asking for her help and calling in a "favor". Since Superman was present when she got called into battle against a common demon-lord foe, he went along.
The 1st skirmish went over as you would expect, with Supes and Wonder Woman kicking butt. But Supes finally was informed as to what he had signed onto, not just a skirmish but a 1000 year war!!!
So, nearing the year of the big final battle, Thor had fallen wounded in battle and Superman had taken command of Mjolnir and Thor's forces. Wonder Woman was his 2nd in command. He forgot Lois' voice, and even her face and on the night of the final battle where Lois' memory almost left him and "it may be our last night together", Supes reverted to Clark-mode and just hugged his best friend. they went, they saw, they conquered, he came back magically to the point in time from which he had been yanked... well, a few days later. And he kept his vows to his wife, even though the temptation was there and she would've understoof.

You know, it is not impossible. I recently met up with an ex and good friend of mine who married a woman. We spent the two weeks together and reminisced and enjoyed one another but never once flirted with the notion of sex as our relationship--our very lives--have changed in the intervening years.
I think it is perfectly possible. The bad is that the author made one of them willing and the other not, thus making the willing one a mere plot device (or another kind of device rhyming with "plot") which is an insult to the character.

It was a thousand years! Honestly, after a 100 I would believe that even the strongest of men would crack.

What issues was that?
Sorry to go off topic! But I always liked Blue Jay.
It's the "1000 years" part that I find hard to swallow. Even a decade of events changes people; imagine how much even people like Supes and Wondy would change if they had to fight a bloody war for 100 times that. Plus in the end, they went to their times as if nothing had happened. Poof! Not to mention, it would be something that would be referenced elsewhere. "Hey Clark, remember when we spent 1000 years fighting the Norse Gods' enemies?"
The whole thing just sounds more like a stand-alone, enjoy-it-by-itself-and-never-mind-the continuity type story to me. Which is OK, of course.

No; it was just an issue of Action, and Supes and WW were discussing his impending mission into space when they got teleported to Asgard.
