After years of seeking out of print copies, fans of the brief 9 issue Roger Stern and John Byrne run of Captain America will be able to snap up the reprinted version this week.
Marvel has finally gotten smart and is capitalizing on the popularity of the Brubaker run, to re-market this trade paperback.

The book is due in comic shops this week, delaying after the holiday.
One of the pluses of the earlier version was the inclusion of four or five pencilled pages for the projected next issue which would have featured a tie into either the Red Skull or Baron Blood storyline.
The pages were never scripted or lettered, but the art gave a taste of where the story was going, and what might have been. So it was worth the price of the trade instead of trying to collect the eight or so issues.
Include are the classic retelling of the origin, Cap for President, Cap's Shield, Mr. Hyde & Batrok, Baron Blood, and more. Check out the new reprinting and please share your comments below...
