Marvel's version of the Sinestro Corps...called Negative Zone Centurions

Take "Korvac" "Beyonder" "Apocalypse" "Onslaught" "Magus" "Thanos" "Scarlet Witch" "The Void" "Dark Phoenix" "Annihilus" As all members of the negazone centurions...all powered by negative zone cosmic energy.

Meh, the Centurions were one of the least interesting parts of ANNIHILATION, for me. The core group was cool, what with Ravenous, an Awesome Android, and the mind-controlled Paibok, Terrax, and the Delinquent, but the random bunch of aliens that made up the rest of the crew . . . dullsville.

As for adding in every cosmic villain, ever, I'll pass on that, too. When any one of them is a viable threat to all that is who can only be defeated via plot contrivance, what's the point of stacking the deck that high?

All those egos in one room? it would be like putting a bunch of ants from different colonies together in a bowl. Bad jojo. Every time major villains like that get together they always end up betraying each other. There's a reason most Marvel events involve only one bad guy.






Sorry to get off-topic, but in a recent issue (last year or so) of Wizard magazine they ran a spotlight on Annihilation: Conquest that featured some artwork for all the major characters and explained some design elements for each. Anyone know what issue that was?

1) Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet

2) The Annihilation Wave (Combined forces of Annihilus, Negative Zone armada's, Thanos & his tech, Ravenous, Centurions, Annihilus's brides, Galactus Super Weapon, Harvester of Sorrows)

3) Shuma Gorath

4) Aegis and Tenebrous

Do those sound equal in threat level?

Yep, that's the costume I meant...the new one for the Annihilation: Nova limited.
I like to track his appearances for the Quantum Zone (http://quantumzone.org/) and will start looking for tis issue of Wizard if he's in it.

Don't know if it is necessary...Marvel typically does the cosmic more intently. It's fairly well-populated for a teamup like this.

I'd say a team up of Heralds would work...with some Galactus analogue as the centerpiece.

Well the Marvel Universe tends to be more powerful as a rule, so I think the Corps idea works better for DC, or at least right now it looks very promising.

I'm not sure if you're going to put anything with Phyla Quasar on your site since you seem to be mostly a fan of Wendell but there you go.

"powered up mode"? Sigh. The costume looks cool, but I hope the words "power mode" aren't said again.

Also. Is this the "Awesome Android" that showed up in She-Hulk or some clone or something? Awesome Andy would be a wondeful touch of humor and humanity in the Annihilation series.

No... the Super-Adaptoid is a completely different villain; he can take on the powers of the heroes he encounters. I believe they said that in the mini he will have the powers of several Avengers, including Quasar's father Mar-Vell.

Oh. I always confused those two. Super Adaptoid. Looks like he's just going to job to Phyla so she'll get some notoriety.

If by that you mean "kick her butt back and forth," then yep!

I doubt they'll let her get defeated so soon. Looking at it: general power-taking villian, little personality, first time hero (of sorts). It just looks like they'd have her get beat so soon to such a villain.

I think for the first 3 issues she's going to be his punching bag while she searchs for whoever it is she needs to find, and then in the fourth she will confront him and finally beat him.
