I just saw Silent War #6 come out and have never heard of it. What is it about? Is it any good?
I would love to hear your opinions.
THANKS!!:D :)

Yes, it's good.
Use the search function for this forum under "Silent War." You'll find the threads to all six issues. That will tell you everything you need to know.

It's an amazing mini about the Inhumans, and their attempt to regain the terrigenian crystals. It was well written, but the art was shaky at times. I absolutely loved it though, but Black Bolt is one of my favorite characters. Pick it up, you won't regret it.

Who writes it and who is the artist?
It's the sequel to "Son of M" (which is now available in trade paperback), which was itself a sequel of sorts to "House of M".
(Some spoilers follow)
Basically, Son of M is about what happens to Quicksilver after his attempt to save his sister in House of M comes crashing down. He's without his powers, and basically wants to restore them. He does so by going to Attilan - the home of the Inhumans which is on the moon - and steals some of their Terrigan crystals, which are used to give the Inhumans their powers. He uses them on himself (with interesting results), basically kidnaps his daughter (he was married to Black Bolt's niece) and uses the crystals on her, as well as on other depowered mutants. It's all a pretty grim affair, but really compelling storywise. The Inhumans track him down to get the crystals back, but at the same time, so does the US military. During a brief free for all, the US military winds up with the crystals, and refuse to give them back to the Inhumans. Black Bolt declares war (in an scene that simply needs to be read, instead of told about).
Silent War is basically taking up the next part of the story, which deals with the way the Inhuman/US "war" unfolds. It's got some surprising twists to it, and is more than a little like the Empire Strikes Back, Inhumans style.
Definitely worth reading.

How many issues does it go to?

Six, as this was the final issue. For sure, pick it up! Great stuff indeed!!!
How many issues does it go to?
The series consisted of six issues (and it was the sixth that came out this past week) ... so you'll either want to hunt down the first five, or wait until they've been collected as a tpb. But you should read the whole series from start to finish, whatever you do, as the last issue has a kick arse conclusion ... which you don't want to spoil until you've seen it "in context."
It's that good. (And the writer, David Hine, has indicated that there's supposed to be one more series after this -- or there had better be).

Okay, so David Hine writes it, but who draws it?

Irving Frazer whose style really works drawing inhumans and witchmen, but really doesn't work drawing normal people.
