I just picked up the full run of the series and I have a question... where is the origin?

Both #0 and #1 feature the team after they've got their costumes talking about events the reader has never seen in the series.

So where do they actually get their costumes? I'm tempted to it might of happened during the Spider-Man storyline where the costumes first appeared.

Can anyone help?

It wasn't in the Spider-Man storyline. That much I know.

A google of "Slingers" and "Origin" revealed that Dusk's origin was told in the sixth issue.

The origin seems to be a big deal in the last three issues.

Can anyone help?The Slingers got their costumes from the Black Marvel. Black Marvel made a deal with Mephisto that involved giving the Slingers their costumes and helping the Black Marvel himself relive his glory days. The costumes are not the ones that Spidey wore, as he goes to his attic during the series and still finds them. Instead, these were costumes based on those he wore, manufactured by Mephisto.

Ahh cool.

I wasn't sure if it was revealed in the other 3 #1s... what a dumb idea to make it so you had to buy 4 different #1s to get the full story.
