This is one of the times that makes me torn with this book because I thought this issue was very good and it had a decent amount of dialog along with nice clean art. I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Wolverine and Cyber and found it hilarious when Cyber mentioned his new pacemaker was like a Bullseye target.I also found the flash backs between the Hudsons and Cyber before he was cyberized. ALso liked how they explained that they killed all Logan's lovers so he would stay violent and animal like. I still am not too crazy about the whole son story because that still seems to be going nowhere, but did enjoy Cyber here. Also can't wait to see more Bucky here as well.

I'll be the first to eat my words -- this issue was great.

Beautiful cover by Djurdevic.

Stuff actually (gasp) happened this time! ZOMG!

It actually ties in with Loeb's Wolverine arc? Wow, if these two are on the same page I take back a lot of what I said about this title being unnecessary.

Pretty big retcon on James Hudson, though, isn't it? I never really followed Alpha Flight, but I imagine some people may be annoyed at this. Even though it makes perfect sense. The reveal about women in Logan's life is a pretty big deal, and I fully support this plot.

Wolverine uses his cunning to defeat Cyber and doesn't whine the whole issue about Daken. No emo thought boxes.

And the epilogue tied it together with "Origins and Endings," which was appreciated.

Damn, I may not drop this after all...keep it up, Way. And bring on more Omega Red!

I agree. Best (and longest) issue of the series so far. Hopefully this level of quality will continue.

I just hope they get a more exciting penciler soon.

So what made this issue so much better than the others?

The dots are finally connecting. No more hushed whispers and shocked looks. We now know why any girl that James hooks up with ends up dying, why he's such an animal, oh and that Romulus is really pulling the strings here too with Gibney as his #1 lackey.

More story, plus there were actually some pretty big revelations. And Logan's double-cross of Cyber was well done too IMO.

It's not meant to be James Hudson that they're talking about, rather an ancestor of his (probably his grandfather, or perhaps even great-grandfather).

Well, that's good. But what IS it? What's the revelation?
