Mmm, milkin' Bliss for some snake tongue venom. Yummy. :D
The Book. Guess that confirms once and for all it is one of Destiny's Diaries.
Caliban's running to the X-Men was part of Masque's plan. Not good.
Heh. Calban's line of Masque not worth being killed, but a severe beating should suffice is gold.
Storm and Hephzibah flirting... hot. Between Black Panther and her, Storm has a cat fetish. :D

What in the world has happened to Larroca's art? And they already ditched the headshots box after it just changed last issue?

Apperantly for Endangered Species, it's once again going away. A pity.

It hasn't been any good since X-Treme X-Men.

This comes out next week? That's quick? Damn. This Search for Magneto, WWH, Amazing Spider-Man, and Endangered Species is keeping me at the damn comic shop.

Lols I like to savor my Carey's X-Men and don't like looking at preview pages but I don't hesitate here!
I feel like we saw these pages before? Hm?
I'm going to buy Larocca a pencil because apparently he can't draw anything anymore. Enough already with the real life images. Storm does look awesome, though.

This team must be the most uninteresting in the history of the X-men. Hepzibah, Caliban, Storm, Xavier (WTF is he still doing with the X-men?). I'm reading, but both the first issue and Rise and Fall disappointed me, so my expectations aren't high.

This book is on my pull list and last issue wasnt bad, but after reading X-men 200 the first thing I did when I heard this was coming out next week was think oh great .
Right now I am really glad that there is an Endangered Species back up in it.

Yah, Bru needs to step it up... but this arc's already looking to be a gigantic improvement from RAFOTS. I'm eager to see where it goes anyway.

I mean after all the crap he did, and because they are all grown-ups and don't need a daddy with them anymore.

Then they need to move out of "daddy's" house and stop using "daddy's" money. Seriously, it's his organization.
Anyway, the preview looks decent, I guess. I've enjoyed Bru's run thus far, but I'm still waiting for him to step it up to Captain America levels.

The last issue was the best X-issue of the month behind X-Factor. It won't take those honors this month but it's 20x better than any of that overpushed Vulcan nonsense.

His house, his grounds, his money, his plane, his costumes, his equipment, his food, his cars, his cellphones, need i continue? If the x-men have a problem with Charles let them move out and get their own house, their own paid job to buy their own damn jetplanes.

To be fair, it's not like they really *need* to stick around either.... Emma, Warren, Ororo, the Braddocks, etc have pretty vast rescources themselves.
Plus, it's Cain's house too. :P

Cat fetish haha well you might be right on that one. think I just fell in love with storm all over again. Let y'all guess why lol. Anyway this arc looks great and I'll be reading it. I hope Nightcrawler is in it alot, is he still the leader, or is Storm now?

man, larocca is terrible. maybe it's the inking or the coloring, but the art is horrible. I don't like this photorealistic stuff and storm looks bizzare.

If I didn't know better, I wouldn't be able to tell that Larocca was drawing this book. It's actually slightly better than what I was expecting. I'm not in love with it, and I'd much rather have Pacheco, Tan, Coipel or Joe Mad on this book, I have to say that I'm pleaseantly suprised with his output on this title. Good job! And I'm so getting excited to see where this story goes!!!

Plus remember that supposedly it was Emma's money that rebuild the X-Mansion after Xorneto destroyed it. So who knows exactly what claim Xavier even has on the place any more.

It's still his property, regardless of who rebuilt the mansion.

Actually wasn't it Cain's father's house? Or am I misrembering, and they moved in after Xaiver's daddy died?
Also, weren't all of Xaiver's assets siezed following OZT? Did we ever get an explanation if/how he might've recovered everything? I'd say it's likely Frost and Worthington have probably been footing the bills/taxes for awhile now... if Xaiver pulled the "my house" card, there'd likely be lots of room for legal recourse (if it came to that).

LOL It's Xavier's property. Hating on him makes the book very adolescent and immature. If the X-Men aren't happy, they can always get a job and form their own organisation like X-Factor.
It's still his property, regardless of who rebuilt the mansion.
Oops didn't see that. I agree. Then again applying common sense and logic to these stories isn't part of making them appealing to mature people.

You're completely misremembering. The estate is Xavier's, period. Cain and his father moved in after Cain's father married Xavier's mother.

I doubt it. At the end of the day, they rebuilt his house on his estate, knowing--without a doubt--that they were sinking money into his property.

So they should relocate the Institute to Frost's property in MA... actually, that'd probably be a good idea really. Sugar mama's already probably paying for everything anyway. ;)

Ah, thanks for that. All I could remember was that they both grew up there, didn't know which "side" was there first though.

Sure, but this investment is likely tied to the Institute legally (which may at this point be an entity unto itself, like most schools), which probably has an executive board too (with Emma, Scott, Xaiver, Warren, Hank, Ororo, etc making up that board). Hell, the property may not even be in Xaiver's name anymore, after he reorganized the whole operation in Morrison's run. From a legal perspective, I doubt Xaiver could make much of a case for the bills, taxes and even reconstruction all being "gifts" to him personally. I'd also wager Emma could afford better lawyers. ;)

I absolutely love this idea, but the logistics of the operation haven't been revealed to work in that manner. With that in mind, I think the only safe assumption to make is that Xavier owns everything, since last we heard, he did.

Heh, didn't remember that either, though I know I read it. Must be progressively blocking out Austin's run. ;)
But for some reason, no matter how hard I try, I can't unremember The Draco. Unclean! Unclean!!!

Yeah true, though I'd really love for this stuff to be explored on panel, if only to give the Institute some more legitimacy and realism. One thing I really, really loved about Kelly's stuff was the perpetual "hey, um... where we gonna get money?". If I have to worry about it, the X-men should too! :D

Oh, I agree. I'd love to see Storm and Warren become the primary backers for the Institute. Just imagine the kind of trouble they could cause for Cyclops and Emma.

Yeah, that was an interestig development, and there was a moment during that run that I was convinced Storm was going to start stealing again just to pay the bills, lol. Actually, it was when she was digging up her little box that had her tiara and some other personal items in it.

Great, great scene! Loved how Logan then got everyone edgy about "stangers" in the house, like Cece, Maggot or Marrow were gonna rob them, lol!

My LCS said that they recieved NO preview copies from marvel. The nearest other place that would have them is a 30+ minute drive, and it's 110 degrees outside at the moment. This is especially annoying because Runaways and New Warriors should also be in this shipment.

But yeah, you don't need to drive all that just to see the preview copies, Anna.
Though I have to say I'm more curious about New Warriors than Uncanny.

It's a moot point. I might have considered it, if it meant picking up C&D #42.
