I have made a new superhero named Omniman. I want to pitch the idea to Marvel when I get older because I think he has promise, but do you?
Max Pem is a student from Dowl High. While not an unpopular nerd, he isn't immensely popular either. He's the kind of guy that doesn't want to make trouble, but always has a feeling within that he wants more. His school dilemmas are the kind that he can barely comprehend. He has a major crush on one of his friends who doesn't see it that way, he and his best bud from way back are drifting apart, his grades are beginning to decline because of his biased, lying teacher, a total asshole that lives in his neighborhood(the kind of guy everyone knows) is always around him and his friends, and his parents at home are beginning to get on eachother's nerves. In the midst of it all, he tries to be the best he can, but always has a side of him that wishes to snap it all.
One day, a meteor hits the earth. Put on exhibit and considered radioactive, Max goes to make a video of it and show it off to people, and maybe even sell it for money. When the security guards are gone, Max sneaks in closer to get some even better shots of footage, not caring about the possible radioactivity. But as he learns, this is no regular rock. The rock fires off a powerful light like none ever seen before. Engulfed in black and white energy, Max runs out of the chamber and falls on the floor.
Max wakes up hours later to realize that he is in the hospital. There seems to be nothing wrong with him, and his parents are terrified. Max decides to keep what happened a secret, and is on his way.
Later, the neighborhood jerk starts annoying Max and taunting him. Max's eyes turn black, and he punches the ass straight in the face, causing him to fall over in pain. Max runs away, realizing what he just did. While he couldn't believe he did, he enjoyed it. It felt good.
One day, Max is walking to school, until he sees an armore car almost hit him andstop infront of a bank. Soon, numerous gunmen pop in to steal some money.
At first Max is terrified, but then feels something odd. Like he can beat them. He can't explain it, but he has an instinct that he could win. He then begins to feel glorified and valiant towards himself. This feeling is so great that he is prepared to run in there and fight. One part of his mind is screaming "ARE YOU NUTS?!?!" while the other is saying "You can win!" Either way, he's almost there.
Suddenly, something brews within him. He begins to light up. In fear of someone seeing him, Max hides in an alleyway. He soon turns into a pure white being with black eyes. He can't imagine why, until he remembers the meteor. It must of done something to him. Terrified at first, Max is almost ready to scream, but oddly calms down as if he understands something. He wants to run, but he knows he can't. Full hearted, Max runs into the bank.
He sees the men taking money and threatening the people within the walls of the place, and is ready to do something about it. Without thinking, Max punched a maan. The hit is so great the the robber soars fifty feet into a wall, completely unconcious. All of them see Max and open fire. He cringes in hope of the bullets not hitting him, and they don't. A small energy shield appears infront of him. The bullets stop there. Max then leaps around with his protection taking down the badguys. He goes outside to almost get hit by an oncoming car. But somehow, he has a burst of energy flow through him, almost flying. He is up in the air, surprised. Then he realizes that he can use the bursts to travel, like flying, which he does to get to school.
After school, he decides to sneak out of his bedroom to stop a midnight robbery he saw while on patrol at night. He goes in to take out a few guys, and is shot by a man. This man laughs at him and starts telling him about how he's going to kill Max because of his interference. Max become furious and terrified at this, and changes color. Now he is a black being with white eyes. He leaps off of the ground and runs directly at the robber. Now feeling pissed and ready to rumble, Max throws the man out of the building and causes incredible havoc on the building and the robber.
During the beating, Max suddenly stops. He feels his subconcious talking to him. "What are you doing?" it asks. Max looks around to see the carnage. Why? Why the anger? He suddenly turns white and makes sure everyone is ok. "Oh no" he says, remembering the man he threw out of the window. He looks to see the man's dead corpse lying on the street. "What have I done?" he whispers.
In his brood, Max is still in disbelief in what has just happened. He turned on the news to see people saying that he is a monster and a possible paychopath for his destruction. Max begins to realize that no matter what, that, that thing is inside of him, and he must take control.
Max tries to keep the powers away from humanity until a car accident that had a truck out of control heading straight towards people. Max reacted with a transformation into "Light Mode", and saves the man and the passenger in the car. He then starts to think that he can actually help save mankind from harm more than cause it.
So he begins to train both "Modes" to be able to save lives and use their powers wisely, and avoid the kill that effected they way he looks at having abilities such as his.
Powers
LIGHT MODE
Super Strength - Light Mode can lift up to 11 tons.
Super Speed - Light Mode is very fast, and is able to dodge bullets.
Energy Shield - Light Mode can put up a shield infront of him for a short period of time. It does not protect his back.
Fly Boost - Light Mode can use a burst of energy to lift him up into the air, and it takes strokes to continue. It's like web swinging, without the webs and energy bursts.
DARK MODE
Super Strength - Dark Mode can lift up to 15 tons.
Super Speed - Dark Mode is as fast as Light Mode.
Intangability - Dark Mode can can let things go through him for small periods of time. They take a good bit of energy, so are not allowed to be used constantly.
Power Punches - Dark Mode's arms can light up and and create powerful booms of force, sending the enemy flying.
