Who would you like to see die in this or other arcs?

Out of that list, I could only pick Litterbug, since I like him the least. I liked Alchemy in the early X-Factor issues and I think he has some potential. Beautiful Dreamer has recently become one of my favorite Morlocks, though I didn't pay much notice to her before the 198 thing. I like her powers and her look is interesting, but Bliss is still my favorite powered Morlock. I also like Erg, and if too many Morlocks die in the arc, it'd be too much like a rehashing of the Mutant Massacre. Meltdown, I never liked, so I could see her go if they felt compelled to kill a B-Lister. I know Persuasion has her fans around here, so I wouldn't want them to see her go down. Rhapsody... who is that again? Madrox's fling? I wouldn't care if she died, honestly. Skein doesn't belong in the X-Men universe and she's much too interesting to get killed off by a villain group she probably never heard of. And lastly, Toad... honestly, I wouldn't care if he died either. He's been boring lately, but I think he'd still fit with a new Brotherhood.

In conclusion, I don't think any known mutants will be taken out by the Marauders. I think it'll be a bunch of no-namers that Carey will create himself.

Absolutely none. I'm burned out on the death of characters between M-Day and New X-Men and a hundred other places, i just want a little life left in mutants to enjoy.

If it has to be anyone, let it be a true red shirt: someone who we have never seen before. the whole 198 concept is screwed and constantly changing anyway, what would it hurt?

It'd be exceedingly lame for some of these characters to be whacked. I'm generally tired of mutant death anyway. It's ridiculous and over the top.

That said, I doubt many folks would notice Alchemy or Rhapsody dying. What about Lorelei, she seems like reasonable cannon fodder too.

Killing Morlocks is so Mutant Massacre redux it's ridiculous though, and they're appearing in Uncanny, so it's doubtful they'd die in 200, when they're busy in another storyline in another book.

And Skein? That would be the lamest one of all, well her or Meltdown.

I think Toad should join X-Factor personally, so no death there.

With all the deaths lately, they've lost their impact. Every character is someone's favorites. Good stories can be written without throwing characters into the woodchipper every chapter. It's getting old. People may complain about resurrections, but they wouldn't be necessary if people didn't resort to cullings.

I remember Pulse talking about his mother in a distant tone and I was thinking, "what if Pulse is using Rogue as a beard." Then I LOL-ed. Hopefully he's going to be in the alleged upcoming X-Force series. I'm still hopeful in the unlikely possibility he'll be on Carey's squad post-CompleX.
