Peter David recently hinted we may be losing a member (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=10895) post-crossover. Who do you think it will be?

The star of the show whose encountered his own dilemmas and origin shattering revelations...Jamie Madrox?

The lupine mutant whose envisioned a violent future in her path, Wolfsbane?

The once suicidal depowered mutant Rictor, who recently has been associating with Quicksilver and the terrorist group of former mutants, X-Cell?

Strong Guy, the man with a guilty conscience over his mind-controlled murder of a man?

The guarded, fabulously hormonal, but otherwise perfect Monet St. Croix, who revealed to Doc Samson to be fighting some inner demons?

Siryn, whose throat seems to once again face its own issues?

Or the mysterious knower of stuff Layla Miller?

VOTE!

I think it might be Rahne.

I wish it were Strong Guy as I like him less than the rest.

Wolfsbane is my bet. She's done jack all in the series thus far. While she is my favorite character, she's pretty much dead weight.

I'm guessing Pietro (he said cast memeber iirc, not team member?), though I'm starting to think it's Ric. :(

If it's Rahne, hopefully Cornell picks her up for Excalibur. :D

I think it's Rhane also. Everyone else fits too well in the book.

Not to mention outside Jamie, she's the only one I could see another writer wanting.

He's a guest star, not really a cast member. He's just there until his story picks up somewhere else.

I thought PAD had referred to him as a cast member even? I don't doubt he's not ever been a planned permanent addition, but he may be the one PAD's referring to?

LoL, you voted for everyone Matt?

Personally, I'm always in fear of Rictor's life given his circumstances and his conversation with Rahne in the Endangered Species one-shot, but I can see Rahne leaving or even Layla if her part will come full circle after the Messiah CompleX concludes.

How about some speculation on who might be added?

I vote for Shan! Just too good a character who gets continually sidelined for whatever reason... perfect for PAD! :D

Yes Faded! Make a second poll with who should be added!

I was thinking about starting a thread on that too, but its probably overkill. :D

Here's my list of possible choices:

Beast, every investigation firm needs a sciency guy!

Cannonball, Sabra; if Sam leaves Carey's X-Men, I'd like him to be here. These two go with XF's theme of being composed mostly of the Paris X-Corporation branch.

Karma, Sunspot; Unused and interesting New Mutants would be perfect.

Empath; If Layla leaves, we need someone else who will creep us out. Unfortunately, Manny is quite as cute.

Omega Sentinel; man X-Cell would be piiiised. Hopefully there won't be an X-Cell post-crossover because they'd all be repowered. TEEHEE.

Marrow; X-Cell! Siryn would be pissed, but perhaps they'd take her in with caution and become the token depowered mutant if Rictor's powers don't fade/kill him.

Callisto; Not really interested in this option, but I see it as plausible.

Hollow (Penance); a connection with M's past, perhaps part of her issues as seen in X-Aminations?

Risque; because every good team needs her? lol

No Dani mention? :(

Though if Rahne's out, I couldn't see much reason for Dani to join up...

I doubt it's Beast. With Bendis and Carey both trying to grab him, I doubt PAD will.

Dani's already spoken for, at least for the moment. Over in Avengers: The Initiative.

Because she's in the Intiative! Her ex-teammates without a home (if Sam does leave X-Men) need more love!

Yeah, Hank seems well accounted for already. Ditto for Sam and Karima, and Roberto's mention makes me think Carey's got something cooking for him too.

I don't think Sabra would work really either, unless she was mandated to "keep an eye" on the group by Bishop and Val. That might be a good angle actually.

Someone else not mentioned, who I'd personally love to see, would be Amanda Sefton. Not a mutant herself, but pretty well engrained in the X-verse. Make her Theresa's old Muir drinking buddy or something, dropping in and out of the title.

In terms of ideology, I could see Forge hooking up with the group too.

I made the thread, but yeah I removed the choices for Sabra, Sam and Karima. I think Carey has plans for Sunspot, but with things up in the air until after the crossover, I think different faces could be falling in some unexpected places (especially given the comments that the books WILL definitely be disticintive by then).

Voted for Rictor since I have no idea who that is.

I say Strong Guy, really I think they have done everything they can with him plus Rahne has a destiny to fullfill.

I mean c'mon Strong Guy for Deadpool, the circle is complete and the cast is perfect

I hope its strong guy

he doesnt really serve a purpose on the team... I mean M is just as strong, can fly, is a telepath, and invulnerable...

really what good is a guy thats just super strong compared to her

I can see that happening, but I think she'll be around more unless they deal with her visions of her killing some of the team members if she does leave the team. That and her wanting to deal with her problems she has when transforming would be good reasons for her to go.

I doubt it's Beast. With Bendis and Carey both trying to grab him, I doubt PAD will.

Yeah too true. Plus X-Factor doesn't have the kind of high tech. equipment that would keep Beast around. He'd be going out of his mind just sitting around all day.

My vote is on Strong Guy, with the stress of him killing that one guy and now in the next arc he's going to get a job offer of some kind, I think he might be gone for a while. Which will be sad to see cause he and Madrox are like best buds are they really work well together in the books.

i actually hope its Rhane
her character is quite a bore
i honestly doubt its Layla
and another character i would like to see gone is Guido

Though I doubt we'll ever see it. Why any X-Men who's seen more than two different futures believes anything is ever set in stone, I have no idea.

I believe Rictor will be gone. I think he will experience a change of personality because of the return of his powers, and I'm partly expecting him to ally himself with some villains.

If it is Rahne I want something done with her... I agree though, she's been rediculously underutilized here.

Strong Guy has had his uses (the hypnotism thing) but he hasn't really been fulfilling his role as comic relief all that well... He's better in a group that works as a cohesive team (aka, not a detective agency.)

Since Madrox and Rahne are the big Messiah Complex characters from XF, and we won't see Jamie go, it'll be Rahne.

There's no guarantee that he'll keep his powers.
