Just a question I thought I'd post here for feedback/advice. I've tried plugging my art and books through several channels on the Web, and find many are dominated too much one group or another within comic fandom, and I'd like to cast a net for people who read ALL comics. Any ideas?
For example, CBR seems to have mostly mainstream readers who aren't into indie titles much (the indie threads seem to turn on Image and Dark Horse, which are far too big to be indie in my opinion). Yahoo groups has a different mix but there's more of a fetish crowd there, Comicartfans is OK but mostly lurkers or people buying/collecting from big name artists, and conventions are a good place but the tables are too expensive.
Any other places to look? Tell me, where do the TRUE comic fans hang out?
