Ok, so I bought Rihanna's new album, and I enjoyed it. But is it hiphop, pop, or both? Can hiphop have a "poppish" sound to it? I know I've heard pop that has hiphop elelments.

Who do you consider to have a hiphop-pop hybrid sound?

You're right about Rihanna's Carribean sound elements. Maybe she was the wrong example for me to mention. Some of her songs on Good Girl Gone Bad sound a little "poppish" to my ears.
