In the last ten minutes, I have received just two spam messages that got past my spam filters at work, and both were ads for Viagra. The disturbing part is that the first one was from an "Amy" while the second one was from a "Chi." Amy is my girlfriend of the last four years, while Chi was a woman that I was involved with, on and off, from '97-'02.

Aside from that, my work computer has been hit with an avalanche of bank-related phishing e-mails in recent weeks, especially from a Regions Bank. I keep adding these senders to my block list and then I get more from other sources.

I rarely get spam.

I must be doing something wrong on the internet.

Once I set up a bogus Yahoo account for buying things online, my spam went to zero.

I've done the same thing.
I have an account set aside as the one I give out to other websites. My personal one gets nothing.

No no.

That's actually Amy and Chi putting you on the clue train.

Denial is soooooo tragic, isn't it?

I've been paying attention to my work spam filter lately. We average 12,000 incoming emails each day, and we aren't a large company (perhaps 350 employees). Of those 12,000 incoming emails, only 15% are forwarded to our users as legitimate email. Spam is a huge problem.

My friend got a spam that, instead of the usual "add length" or "add time" it offered to "add volume" to the er, ejaculate. Pretty funny. Who would want that? I'm waiting to get an offer for increased velocity.

Couldn't you just shout louder?

I got a spam message from postmaster[at]hotmail.com -- which I actually thought was pretty slick.

(The real address from a MSN-generated message would be postmaster[at]mail.hotmail.com)

If you have a low sperm count then you may want more volume so you make a baby and be a real man.

Just a guess cause I never had to research dick problems.

My office recently switched to GoDaddy as a hosting firm, and now we get virtually no spam. I've never seen anything like it.

A friend of mine got a similar offer. Ever since he told us about it, "200% more" has become a catch-phrase in that circle.

When I first read the title to this thread, I assumed it was about the food product.

I assumed wrong... :o
