Does anyone else here read these? I think they're pretty good. There's a few people here that have written and/or currently write for this series.

The latest issue is #130, in which Marge sells all of the family's possessions (save for Homer's reading glasses) to a 'mysterious' bidder who turns out to be someone that they all know very well (especially Marge); Artie Ziff.

MARGE THE SELLOUT
Script: Ian Boothby
Pencils: Phil Ortiz
Inks: Mike DeCarlo
Colors: Karen Bates
Letters: Art Villanueva
Editor: Bill Morrison

While the "sellout" part of the title doesn't actually last very long in the story itself (although there is a callback to it when Artie finally buys Homer's glasses). I absolutely loved Homer thinking it was "opposite day" (although I guess I'm too young to understand the reference as to who he was tutoring...still funny though). The quiz segment was my favorite part of the story (as a Beatles fan a thought Homer mistaking Pete Best for Marge's favorite Beatles was a stroke of genius), especially Homer constantly yelling "I ACCEPT" before he even knew the full conditions of said quiz (commendation to Phil Ortiz on the terrific art during this part, too). Overall, a brilliant effort by Bongo; well done Ian, Phil and everyone else involved with this issue.

Issue #131 is out now, co-credited as being written by Chuck Dixon and Ty Templeton.
It features Simpsons Comics as the apparently 'appear' in Japan, Belgium and Mexico. Seems fun.

I love it, more than the show because of the detail that cannot be presented in the show finds a place here.

If Ian Boothby happens to wander into this thread, I was wondering; how come you've never done a story for Bart Simpson Comics before?!? I think your writing for Bart as a charcter is excellent!
