I'm trade-waiting for W.W.H. and I'll only buy the tie-ins if they prove to be positively salubrious. I got burned from House Of M and that has resulted in me trimming what I pick up from event-based stories. Eg; when Civil War happened I only picked up Road To Civil War and Civil War. No tie-ins.

But I'd seriously give my left nut to see Whedon's team throw down against Hulk. That's a tie-in I'd pick up.

The art-life is going well, but the job life isn't. The teachers union mihgt go on strike, and somehow, despite not being part of this union, my going to work would be considered crossing the picket line. Cool. That's when Blue Beetle shows up in the book, right? I might have to pick that up.

There was a really bad crossover between Titans and Outsiders where one of the villains is a thong wearing female Brainiac. We also get to see a naked Dick Grayson surrounded by condom wrappers. It sucked.

Yeah, I like Blue Beetle. This week's issue rocked because it guest-starred one of my favorite C-listers, Traci 13.

What's your . . . .

1) Favorite movie of all time?

There's no way I could possibly choose just one, so I'll name off a few of my top faves: Sunset Boulevard, Moulin Rouge, Elizabeth, Lord of the Rings (all three), Finding Neverland, Grease 2, American Beauty, Bridget Jones's Diary, Billy Elliot, The Talanted Mr. Ripley, Being Julia, Reefer Madness. Gah! I could go on forever!!!

2) Favorite movie of the last couple years?
Um, Being Julia or Reefer Madness. I can't think of any other really great movies that I've seen in the past few years. I've yet to see most of this year's Oscar noms, so maybe I should answer this after I have.

3) Favorite comic of all time (issue, run, mini, tpb, whatever)?
Neil Gaiman's Sandman

4) Favorite comic of the last couple years?

5) Favorite CD of all time (no Greatest Hits!!!)?

I shall answer my own poll now.

1) Favorite movie of all time?

I'd have a hard time narrowing down a list of my 100 favorite movies. My answer changes at least every year, but lately I've been going with Chinatown.

2) Favorite move of the last couple years?

Brick or Oldboy.

3) Favorite comic of all time (issue, run, mini, tpb, whatever)?

Watchmen or Sandman. I'm being really indecisive aren't I?

4) Favorite comic of the last couple years?

Black Hole.

5) Favorite CD of all time (no Greatest Hits!!!)?

No fucking clue.

6) Favorite CD of the last couple years?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Musical CD.

7) Favorite TV show of all time?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

8) Favorite TV show of the last couple years?

Arrested Development.

9) Favorite novel of all time?

Basically impossible for me to answer because I rarely read anything twice. Probably Lord of the Rings or something by Raymond Chandler.

10) Favorite novel of the last couple years?

The only novel that's come out in the last coupld years that I've read is Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Everything else I've read in the last couple years is either an older book or a comic of some sort. So by default . . .

11) Favorite video game of all time?

Final Fantasy Tactics. Or one of the Super Mario games.

12) Favorite video game of the last couple years?

Super Smash Bros. Melee.

13) Favorite anime of all time?

Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I have this unexplainable love for Birdo and Drybones. I want them to be in every Mario game.

Impa....from Ocarina of Time? Because that would be awesome. Though I hated how her body moved before she threw whatever it was that made her disappear. I'd always imagine that her arm was going to break off her body while still holding that disappearing shit, and she would be left with only one arm and still in the same spot and have to be all "Errr...OK..." and just run away while Link would watch all confused.

Well, the Japs love Birdo, but yeah... he would be really similar to Yoshi.

Toad is an iconic Mario character and I think he'd make a good character to play as. He's always been my favorite Nintendo star, and I mean... the Ice Climbers and Ness are all small but effective fighters. DON'T CRUSH MY DREAMS OF HAVING TOAD! :( Really, I just want the "Big 8" Mario characters in Smash Bros. (Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Wario).

Dry Bones would be awesome too! OR A BLOOPER! Bloopers and Cheep-Cheeps are my favorite generic enemies. Also, really obscure, but I'd kill to see Tryclyde from Mario 2 again. I loved him in the Super Mario show.

And yeah... Impa from OoT. In the other Zelda games, she's either an old woman or a really fat woman. I'd be down for the fat woman, but everyone thinks of her OoT look when they think of her. All I really want is a female character who uses physical force instead of magic or weapons. Impa's one badass tough bitch and she'd be awesome in it.

While we're on Zelda characters, I'd kill to see Twinrova as a type of Ice Climber duo that merge into the single fighter (a la Zelda/Sheik).

Sounds about right.

You know ona complete side tangent type thingy, what is the obssession with her and Justine Timberlake at the moment in the US?

Neither are really talented as such yet they are praised so much by US media...and here too, I mean the only way Beyonce got to #1 with that duet thing she did with Shakira was because of the remix by Freemasons.

Backup. I didn't see all of the game but the only well known player I saw was Robinho. But Brazil is Brazil ... they play with their rookies to give them more experience. They are all nervous in the beginning but at the end they kick everyone else's ass. Today it's Argentina USA...I will root for USA for all you americans!

Yeah it's crazy. When you see it all itemized it's shocking. Simple little tests that take 5 minutes cost hundreds of dollars. You could get an awesome hotel room and hire a few people to take care of you for the amount they charge per day just to be in a hospital room.

i just finished xmen #200...it was great but i still have trouble with bachalo's art...

but that's just me...

I dont disagree, i honestly found the ramos bits more exciting to look at, but then again i think that part of the story was more compelling since i dont give two hoots about cable

I flipped through my X-Men #200, skipping some parts so I haven't really read it yet....Did that with most of my comics. Read the Endangered one shot though. Interesting convos.

Still, regardless, he's still part of Scott's love juice. Him and Emma have atleast that incommon:rolleyes:

I think his Children of the Vault arc was great and I hope he's the one to draw them when they come back

Especially for Serafina's sake. The artist who drew her that one time was AWFUL. He drew a nice Perro, at least.

Nyssane, Serafina looked more like Nurse Annie when that artist drew her

*HISS* That's taking it too far!

I dunno, I don't think anyone but Bachalo can pull that gothy-inspired diva look for Serafina. I'd like to see Ramos draw her just to see what it'd be like.

Shame Nurse Annie couldn't look more like Perro...you know...on fire.

Not possible.

I liked the Ramos art but those pages with Raven and Rogue...wtf? where's Rogue's nose? it looked more like a scene from pokemon when the characters do that ugly open mouthed circle thing

I KNOW! Perro was by far my favorite, followed by Serafina. The other three were neat, but kinda stereotypical.
