Isn't there an Iron Man cover out there somewhere with an alcoholic Tony Stark?

Got thinking about this after coming across the "junkie Speedy" cover of Green Lantern/Green Arrow #85 from way back in 1971.

Late 70s or early 80s. "Demon in a Bottle". Check www.comics.org.

That was the first Guess the Classic Cover cover ever, back in 2004.

Solved in a single clue by Canada's own, Bill Angus.

Was anyone else getting The Comic Reader around this time? I loved when Bullet Crow slapped the drunken Iron Man around. "Stark, you sot!!"

Really? I thought that was the the first one in the second go-around.... wasn't the first one from the Claremont/Miller Wolverine mini...

But, you'd probably have a better idea that me.

IIRC, you were actually the person to solve the first cover for both the first and second contests.

I'll never forget the first one though - because I though I was so crafty and that it would take people a week to solve each cover.

When you solved it in about 5 minutes, I felt like Johnny and Venus from WKRP when they ran that 'impossible' contest with the song montage.

You're right, I did. Though my productivity has dropped off dramatically lately.

hahaha - I haven't thought about that episode in years. Sorry about that.

Like I said, I'm sure you're right - I'm probably just confusing the order of those 2.
