Just for the record, I added that message AS twilight was posting his cover.

I was thinking the same thing.

I, however, intend to go in the other direction, and find a Powergirl cover.

Great theme - I had a hard time deciding, but I had to go with this classic Schomburg cover.

I love how everyone is so terrified of Miss Masque, except this one guy whose got a bit of a 'Giantess Upskirt' fetish.

I really like the small big contrast on this (which reminds us that size goes down, as well as up).

Not to mention the, er, incautious arm pointing at...

Well, maybe I've just got a dirty mind.

If you're refering to the fact that Jabba the Hutt looks like an enormous penis, then, yeah, I see it too. No tentacles, though.

So... we have the obvious Thanos/Spider-Man proportion for effect. We have the Thanos hand being bigger than his head, but maybe that's a perspective thing, and we have Thanos' head being entirely out of whack.

Plus it's the issue where Spider-Man dies and convinced Mistress Death to resurrect him so he can save some kid from dying.

Yes, Paul. The "Think of the childen" strings people fall for; it even works on Death.

I normally like Ann Nocenti, but I think this issue was worse than the previous one which featured the combined writing talents of McFarlane and Liefeld.

"You will believe a man can DIE!"

Well, I was kind of on that page already, now that you mention it.

You will believe a man can die, and then come back again, for the sake of redeeming the life of another ...

This cover has bugged me for decades.
Either this kid is about 1 1/2 feet tall or Wolverine is not his usual 5'4" self.
Just sort of seems a bit off. Always uneasy about this one.

Oh..and him pointing claws at a child is bad too.

I-I-I don't even know what a "CN Tower" is....

Other "not drawn to scale" things on that cover: Wolverine is depicted as more lean and less muscled (not to mention less hairy). He sort of looks like Peter Parker pretending to be Wolverine. Oh..and his cigar looks like "pantella" which isn't his usual style.

Wait-a-minit...that's the problem. Wolvie is smoking IN A CHILD'S FACE!!! Now that's just wrong. Do you know how damaging that can be? THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!! THE CHIIIIIIIIIIIILDREN!

I KNOW I have seen that "dragon possible t-rex with horns' before. I just can't remember where.

Her head is oddly proportioned on her body. Or maybe it;s correct and i am so used to seeing it all f'd up I don't know a real proportion when I sees it.

CN Tower is the world's tallest free standing structure. It's located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, right next to the SkyDome (home of MLB's Toronto Blue Jays). It's seen in virtually every picture of Toronto (Kinda like the Empire State Building in New York). Looks like the Space Needle from Seattle only taller and thinner. While it doesn't have a rollercoaster on top it does have one of the first revolving restaurants.

It just looks..... flat to me. There's nothing to give perspective so the dragon looks like it's RIGHT THERE but could be further back. There's just no way to tell. It's almost like she's standing on a stool behind a standee of treasure (like you'd make for a theatre production). It's like all cut and paste from other pictures.

The dragon shows up on the next cover fighting the undead Mordath but doesn't look proportionate to this one.

twilight gets my vote this week. Cable was always just a body in flux under Leifeld's pen. Some days he'd be about 8 feet tall and have 20 biceps and others he'd be just a tad taller than Cyclops with maybe 24 biceps.

Nods to rik levins for the Rawhide Kid cover and to MacDanny for the big Crazy Quilt. I just can't vote for a Kirby draftsmanship error! Leifeld...not a prob.
