A Whale of a Tale!

I just saw this interestin' story (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070612/ap_on_re_us/century_old_whale) on Yahoo! news, about a bowhead whale that might have been 130 years old at the time of its death. I had no idea that any whale was capable of living more than a century. The world sure has changed since that poor creature came out of the womb. It's outrageous that anyone should still be hunting them in this supposedly civilized age.

The most interesting part of that to me, besides the old age of the whale, is that the whale was completely oblivious to how the world has changed around it.
