*Yawns and passes the Grey Poupon over to Cam,along with a nice cold beer*
I also regret,Madam, that such a gracious and warm invite by such a kind hearted woman of your stature is indeed a delight,it is one i must sincerely decline to partake. Mayhaps some other rousing young chaps can be rousted out of a daze and indulge in your delightful place here?

For some people the only puns they make are about dairy products, because the rest are just too cheesy. When they think of one, they tend to milk it for all it's worth. Usually I don't think they're gouda enough, but we could find a whey to cream off the best ones. I cheddar to think what they'll come out with next.

Hear about M Night Shyamalan's new movie: The Geologist? My friend geode me money, so he paid for us to see it. He thought it rocked, but I found the twist so lime that the director is now on my schist list. Erode that plot into the dirt.

Watched them all. I liked MTM more, and even watched from time to time Lou Grant.
I went in about a decade (the 90s) from watching 40-80 hours of tv to now watching under 10. Sometimes under 5. Or even 2. Reality TV stranglehold over the networks makes this much easier.
I WILL admit,i have just started to and enjoying CSI. The original one. ONLY this one.
Some good episodes there(and i know Aggie is a CSI fan).
I just wished there was a good Sci-Fi show on. Dr. Who and Heroes are great, but i want more(and i have to wait for the Sci-Fi channel to air Who).
Stargate is so-so. Enterprise was a total zzzz. And i gave up on Lost in season one when i realized we were in for about two seasons of flashbacks and baby steps.
Sigh. And please. No new courtroom/detective dramas, please!

This one will destroy you:
A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.
"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday."
Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager.
Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.
The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.
Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.
She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral."
She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what in the world is this?"
The bank manager looks back at her and says...
"It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

Here's another I came across:
So, a group of scientists are researching human immortality, and they've found the 'kill-switch' in humans is bound to a gene shared only by dolphins. These scientists try all kinds of methods to shut off the kill-switch, and the only chemical that seems to create any kind of reaction at all is in exceedingly short supply. The only place to get more of it is in the eggs of unhatched, or recently hatched, seagulls. So the scientists begin to drive for the west coast to obtain more of it in order to further their cause.
They reach the coast, and find a series of nests of unhatched eggs. They take them, put them in the back of the car, and begin to drive back east towards their research lab. Unfortunately, it seems they've underestimated the ages of the eggs, and they hear the cracks and squawks of hatching birds behind them. As they close in on their destination, they look in the rear view mirror and see a police car's flashing lights. Worried, they pull over.
"What can I help you with, officer?"
"You're under arrest for transporting young gulls across a state line for immortal porpoises."

Last one for the day, as ven I can only take so much:
At 6:03 AM on his first day working at the Playboy Mansion, security guard Richard Mann was surprised to find a group of four men in brown robes setting up a small shed at the edge of the property. A battered old pickup truck had been pulled alongside the newly erected building, and two of the men were busy unloading display racks and flower pots from the back of the vehicle.
"What is going on here?" Richard demanded approaching the strange men.
Most of the men seemed to be fairly old, and one of them was humming something under his breath as he set flower pots up on the display racks. One man, bald with a crown of gray hair and a face lined with wrinkles and stretched into a comforting smile, stepped away from the truck and waved at the security guard. "Hello, child. We were just setting up our shop here."
"Shop?" Richard asked, taken somewhat aback by the man's appearance and even more thrown by direct answer. "I'm sorry, but you can't do that this is private property."
The man ignored him and went back to unloading the truck.
Annoyed, Richard radioed for assistance. A few moments later his superior arrived on the scene.
"What's going on?"
"They're setting up a shop," Richard answered.
"A shop?"
"Yeah."
"What are they selling?"
"Flowers," answered the gray-haired old man.
The supervisor blinked. "What? Why?"
"We thought it would be nice to get out of the monastery, and we've been raising these flowers for some time. A neighbor lent us the truck, and we figured we could donate the money to charity. It seemed like a good idea."
Richard, well-mannered despite his line of employment, went to help one of the old men lift a rather large flower pot from the truck.
"Monastery, so -what- you're some kind of priest?"
"Monk, actually," the gray-haired old man said, straightening a few daisies.
"Well, I don't care what you are you can't set up shop here. This is private property!"
The monk ignored him.
Hours, several attempts at bargaining, and more threats of violence than were strictly necessary, later, Mr. Hefner himself came down from the main house to ask the monks to leave. Without saying a word, the old men packed up their truck and drove off.
Richard watched, dumbstruck, as the truck disappeared down the road. The supervisor, shaking his head, slowly walked back toward the mansion proper.
"I don't get it. What happened? What'd he say?" Richard asked, running to catch up with his supervisor. "Why did they leave?"
"Apparently," the supervisor said, taking off his glasses for a moment to wipe his forehead. "Only Hugh can prevent florist friars."

Funny thing is,i think of all the reality tv shows on,that one is one of the better ones(if such a thing is possible). Even if it is "celebs",at least it encourages responsible diet thru exercise and watching what you eat while maintaining a positive outlook. Unfortantely some of the people i have seen go on it give out personality issues and drag the rest of the show down with it. Ruins what could of been a great show, but it is being done for ratings and sensationalism.:(

Corrine is good. Every sista I know has Teena Marie. I need to update my Prince collection as well.
New artists don't do much for me, but I want to hear some new songs. Odds are I will get older songs because too much crap is on the radio. I end up peeping other genres as well, which is sad, because I grew up on soul music.

This past year was a better Oscar race than we have had in awhile, but most years it is sickeningly elitist. Major genres of movies have been marginalized into non-existence.
Horror, Sci-Fi, and even comedy have more or less been shut out. And if you read interviews with the people who cast the votes they will say things like “I don’t think a comedy should be best picture.”
Ever wonder why ET didn't win and yet utter and complete shit like Braveheart did?
