I'm going to be there with my Comic Widows crew (see comicwidows.com). Who else is going to be there?

I'd do it, but I'm still gimpy. However, I'd wear an Unscrewed! T-shirt or button if there is one. Just a thought. Or business cards. I can carry those.
I have a press pass, and would love to interview any artist at the show for the Comic Widows sites.

Thanks, Ray.
Passing out the Olney warning letter, especially since he claims to be going, maybe even might be a better handout.

We're writers, not artists, but if you want to talk to us, Imperium Comics will be set up in Artist Alley at table 1910. Stop on by!

Never been to WizardWorld con. What are they like?
Just curious,as i am not a fan of the magazine. At the very least, anything that promotes comic books in a positive way seems to be a good thing.
(Just rethinking my views on Wizard in general, any input would be appreciated.)

I meant "artists" as "anyone creating art". I should have said "talent". :) I'll be sure to stop by!

it's the edgemont to SDCC's degrassi...i went for a could of years because it was here and i never been to a con before, but the shiny wore off after the second one...they have decent panels, and guests and stuff and if you're collecting and trading it's cool...they also have some gaming stuff and bootleg dvds and my personal fav...a few weapons venders...i got some pretty cool knives the last time i went...it's a decent con, but no where on the scale of SDCC...

Um. NEVER seen, nor desire to see,Degrassi,of any type. Just not my type of show.
The rest of the comparison sounds ok. Seems like a weaker version of SDCC,but then again, isn't it the LARGEST con,so everything else is going to be smaller?
One thing i heard is that there is a very large Anti-Marvel bias at SDCC,and alot more pro-Marvel at the WizardWorld cons. I do NOT want to start or give a forumn for people to give drive by snark anti-marvel/dc comments, but is there any basis to this? I honestly was too wowed by the size and things to do the last time to remember seeing this.

Not insulting it. I do not wish to watch the show. It is not for me. I will gain no enjoyment from it. That is not insulting it,that is stating a fact.
No desire to watch Dawnson's Creek,One Tree Hill, the OC,Beverly Hills 90210,or any show similar to this either.
I do watch Smallville, mainly for the super-hero connections(and a GREAT Lex Luthor),but after NOT enjoying ANY of the last "team-ups",i will not miss this show if it ends, either.
Oh,and i hate Ghost Hunters with a loathing passion. So there are worse shows,Aggiepookiebear! :D
