We keep losing our 2nd manager every few months. We jsut get a replacement, and i get used to them....all of them have been lovely to work with, and now the latest (a girl this time) is leaving at Christmas to work overseas. sucks coz i jsut got to know her! :rolleyes:

I just had to take a call about school students performing sex acts for camera phones that are doing the rounds among the kids at the school. So the mother's now turned up demanding the school do something, but since it happened outside of the grounds, there's little they can do (besides maybe confiscating the phones).

It's just depressing all round really.

1. My first post was today. I only bring this up because SK is always yelling at me about reving threads.

At work last week we were sent to deliver equipment to one of the rigs, Me and a Mexican Immigrant named Victor
Vic speaks perfect English, and has been in this country for a long time.
Anyway we get to the rig and ask where to set the equipment that's when this Canadian guy tells Victor "Over here ondelay ondelay!!!"

Vic never broke his smile, but i got pissed, I was a second away from asking "so you want it aboot over there eh?" when the mans superior,(also Canadian) sent him away and took over. ( I'm sure the employee got a stern reprimand once we left)

Later Victor was assigned a different task but was no where to be found. So one of the foremen made the wisest leadership decisions I'd ever seen and asked me to find him..(he sent the Indian, to track him, lol!) Vic was clear across the field on another assignment.

Saw Iron Man (at last). It was great. Loved it. Will see the Incredible Hulk soon. Elizabeth the Golden Age is on HBO. :biggrin: Oh Yeah, saw the Batman: Gotham Knights animated feature. It was more like a series of animated vignettes to me.

After I get through with this steak. I got a slice of pecan pie I'm gonna to devour! :biggrin:
