Credit card machines are magical devices that all you have to do is slide your card. Feel free to ignore the text and when it starts beeping at you. Grad school has altered my program. Contemporary writing is kind of phased out, and now there is a dramatic writing and professional writing program. This does change the classes, and how they are arranged. I'm going to have to keep my eye on things as this shift may mean trouble for me. :(

Yes. It's also a different department (dramatic is preforming arts & the current program is liberal arts), which may mean I have to resubmit my portfolio (the original portfolio is a blend of fiction and non-fiction work) and take preliminary classes. I have to email my graduate adviser as this confuses me. :confused:

Last fall contemporary writing was added to the line up of majors that included an MFA and BA program. There was a creative writing minor for years, but that's undergrad. I emailed the grad department asking for the adviser's name I can speak to directly about my program and program limitations.

When I started, I did not mind the blend of fiction and nonfiction, but pro writing seems more geared to non-fiction. I would rather do dramatic writing, and while I am still on some basic courses.

I only saw the 2nd Final Destination film. You can't help but laugh. Some of the deaths move from the oh damn, to a dark comedy.

I did talk to Dwayne McDuffie briefly. Great person,very nice,and even complimented my tshirt. We briefly talked 60s-70s silver age comics and how much more enjoyable they were back then to todays.
