Well, I ended up working another shift, but I have the rest of the week off for reals now!

Yeah, last night was interesting ... my friends and I had a blast. For instance, Alphabet ... that's what we call one of the doctors because his name is so long no one can pronounce it, he got some kid who decided to read The Anarchist's Cookbook last night, and the kid ended up with a million pieces of glass embedded in his body after a homemade bomb went off. I guess it's a good thing this kid only had a public school education, no wonder he couldn't read! He was ... well, I don't know where he was planning to set it off, actually, but from what I heard about this kid, he's a future Darwin Award winner!

And Shanqua was dealing with some guy screaming how much he hated doctors while she was trying to stitch him up after he ran into a wall with a .12 blood alcohol level. He kept screaming and screaming, and finally Shanq just yelled in his face "Shut yo punk-ass up bout hatin' Doctors or I'm gonna go biblical on yo useless @$$ and put you down like the dog y'all are!" And he was quiet after that! Oh, and all of us decided to steal her line to use against any other jerk hehe! I mean, c'mon ... you yell at a doctor about how much you hate them? That's as smart as yelling at a waitress before you order your food ... and you KNOW you'll get something extra in your meal! What a genius hehe!

Now, as for me? I dealt with a Black and White patient last night. And I don't mean he was a mixed race, I mean he is Black, but got stoned and painted himself with white stripes all over his body, like a zebra. Then he decided to stab himself with a dagger. I dunno, maybe he was sacrificing himself to Cthulhu or something? :confused:

So that was our evening at work last night!

Hey Bo Bo. Congestion made the day somewhat difficult. I have Zyrtec. When I really have bad symptoms (mild congestion this time) it appears that the side effects of Zyrtec are most potent. I was so sleepy and could not fight it.
