First the cook never appeared, and didn't phone at all, so I had to do loads of prep, then I was left alone (when the landlord sent the manageress home), and was barraged with orders I had no experiance in making (and cocked some stuff up), then was left with a huge mountain of dishes, that I only managed to do half of before being sent home when the manageress came back.

Yea, it sucked. It was a 4 hr. written exam so I will be state certified. My brain was pretty much fried by the end of it.

well, back in december/january, i got food poisoning. ok, no big deal.

in february, i got it again. i got better, but that same week, i woke up one day with a dull sense of touch, as opposed to being normal, which i would describe as "sharp."

went to a local clinic; the RN saw me and she said "you're fine." they took blood just in case. i went back in two weeks, and they said everything was fine. ok, i wanted a second opinion.

my sense of touch went back to normal, but not 100%. i'd say it's at around 99%; still, knowing it's not completely back is really annoying.

anyway, at the same time, i had this weird feeling in my head. i felt really tired, couldn't concentrate at work, and i had the worst feeling in my head; a lack of mental clarity.

i went to my school's clinic, saw the physician (this was back in march). "you're ok." "but i feel strange, stll."
"wait it out for a couple of months"
"ok"

a bit after this, i'm mostly back to normal, but sometimes i feel weird. it's a mind thing.

i'd go to another doctor, but i'm SOL without health insurance, and they'd probably just say the same thing (useless).

so now i wonder what kind of food poisoning would've done this, and 6 months is a long ass time for the effects to linger.

Doc I sometimes get that lack of touch sensation. It's usually if I'm anxious about something serious. Sometimes its not even when I think i'm stressed, it's more of a subconscious thing, when something serious is happening in my life. Are you under any more stress than normal?

Well,after so many visits I'd be inclined to think it's more of a mind trick thing (but I;m far from being a doctor :wink: ).

What i meant was even though you know you don't feel so good (which is frustrating when doctors have told you you're ok) you should try and ride it out like they said. See how you feel and if things improve health wise.
