My bank retroactively charged me five overdraft fees. If you add up everything I bought I overdrafted by... $1 (which actually was the fault of Circle K). But apparently my bank's modus operandi is to take the money out of my account for a few days... then put it back in... then send it to whoever it is supposed to go to... I think. Honestly as close to how I can wrap my head around it is...

I buy from Circle K (and they overcharge me a dollar). That money is taken out of bank account (kind of).

I buy some other stuff and that money is taken out of my bank account (kind of).

They actually charge me for Circle K, but all the money in my bank account is tied up with the other stuff, thus it goes one dollar overdrawn.

They actually charge me for everything else, all of which goes into overdraft because of the previous overdraft fee retroactively applied to my account.

So that one dollar winds up equaling $180 of overdraft fees. I haven't felt this angry in years.

Can you talk to a manager at a local bank? Some banks have policies where if the overdraft amount is low they don't charge you. Ask them what their policy is for an overdraft of $1.00. Also if you feel that this is due to the banks' error someone could make an exception for you.

I think you can turn it off by going into Control Panel and then Accessibility Options. It's for people who can't hit two keys, like Alt or Shift, at the same time.

Interesting note on my brother is that despite his frame he inherited all the family toughness. Before he joined the family he would get in fights all the time and win. My dad and I were worried about him for a while but he never got in serious trouble with the law thank god. Metropolis is a German film from the silent era. It's made in the Expressionist style, which can be very jarring, but its a great film. It takes getting used to. It is said that George Lucas took inspiration from this film as CP3-0 resembles the cyborg Maria. Also, the character Rotwang is a man who dresses in black, with his hand replaced by a machine.

Blade Runner starred Harrison Ford in a sci-fi/noir genre blend. Although it was made in the 80's and has several of the trappings, of the era, it's a great film. Note that noir films owe a great deal to Expressionist films, as the noir elements (stark lighting, bleak themes, femme fatals) were used/created by German directors who migrated to the US after Hitler took power in Germany.
