My holy grail of comics is Pad's 80 issues of Supergirl now that I bid for and won all of Garth Ennis' Hitman comics. I'm bidding on those right now. If I win, then Ostrander's Spectre run will be my new holy grail. Anyway my question is what is your holy grail of comics?
Mine is PAD's 80 issue Supergirl run that I just put in a higher bid on!

Life is tough. It’s hard being a drug dealer. Sometimes you show up to a meet and a rival gang is there to take you out forcing to have a shootout and then a police chase which sometimes add another shoot out.
Other times you arrive at a meet and the client shoots at you. This leads to another shootout then another cop chase:mad:
Sometimes it’s cops you’re meeting and ofcouse this leads to another shoot out and car chase.
Only rarely do you meet the client exhange dope for the cash and leave unmolested.
I think the key to being a successful drug dealer is to live by one guiding principle that overrides all others. That principle being, give me my fucking money or I’m going to put a hole in you then have a police chase mowing down many civilians either by running them over, dropping grenades for the cars behind me or moving bitches down with a machine gun at 100 miles an hour. Like I said, life is tough.

This always happens when he gets a new avatar. I don't watch tv so I will look at a cropped close up of a character and make a connection that anyone whose seen the tv show would never make. In this case it's the fact that his avatar is a dead ringer for storm.

Today I found out that I'm not as ethical as I'd like to think I am. A month back I ordered 100 dollars worth of comics which never arrived. Two weeks later I contacted the seller, and without being prompted, he credited my account for the money owed. Well a month later I finally got his order, which had no tracking number and I didn't have to sign for. It was just outside waiting for me with the mail.
I of course sent the seller an email asking him how I can pay for a transaction that no longer exists on ebay, and once he gives me his email address I will send him his cash. Still I'm bothered by the fact that I was tempted to keep the comics AND the money. And the fact that the temptation was there to do that bothers me, as I consider myself an ethical person the occasional Punisher graphic novel aside.

you're being to hard on yourself. You did the right thing, the only thing thinking about keeping the money proves is that you're human.
And let's face it Lester, the fact that you DIDN'T drive over there and fire an RPG into the guys house is also a good sign!

Tomorrow I begin my plan of losing 100 pounds in 100 day so I will be staying away. I need discipline to do that as I did before so I am going away. But that's tomorrow.

My diet starts tomarrow so that when my stirke starts. If you have a problem with that !@#$ you.
Being brave doesn't mean you don't feel fear, it means you do what needs to be done despite the fear. Likewise, being tempted doesn't make you unethical. You did what you feel is right despite the temptation.
Just remember, Lester: What would Duncan MacLeod do?

You missed the great post reset. Why else do you think that, with the exception of a few mods, there isn't a member here that joined before 2004 even though CBR been around since 90s with people like Gail and SK around from the beginning.

It went fast for me because I was sleeping having woken up an hour ago to the situation I described earlier. And I'm going to pay for that sleep, by not being able to fall asleep for work tonight. I'm going to be in the office beginning season 24 tonight with one eye closed the entire time and no I'm not kidding.

He's a cow. (This makes sense if you have the DVD collection as there is a blooper reel that shows a cow beheading Duncan Macleod and taking his quickining.)

I think if you imagined Daffy chasing Road Runner you'd see this clearly.

We know how these go, but I'll put some faith in this Strike-for better or worse.
