I didn't say anything because even I have my limits, but if you read between the lines, when he said he did a lot of "dating" on his last vacation I took that to meant he had sex. A lot. Which is something I reallllllllllly don't want to think about.

Sadly, I think a lot of screen writers are lacking the ability to create resolutions to the stories and ideas. Because of the sales that may or may not be good, the writers don't care about the content.

yeah in this case they didn't even make a good generic suspense/horror movie. Too few suspensful moments and even then they weren't that scary. I usually at least jump when they do a big crashing sound effect after a moment of silence. But this time nada and that's never a good sign.

The writers didn't try, IMO, or the producers/directors made changes. it's sad to see the flaws so exposed and so obvious in movies.

I've heard a few people say that the best diet plan is 6 days of healthy eating (and exercise) and one day of junk food. It'll give you a cheat day to look forward to, and you'll stick to your diet longer. I know someone who lost a lot of weight that way, but she really stuck to a plan. She also really REALLY looks forward to that cheat day.

Everyone's different though. It may not work for everyone.

Aren't you cheating yourself? If you're still trying to reach a goal weight, and eating something that will put the weight back on, aren't you shooting yourself in the foot?

Yea, that extatly it. I told myself a bunch of bullshit but ultimatly I just cheated on my diet. Never again.

On the plus side my roommate just walked in my room and nearly vomited. I'm having a bit of a flatulence problem right now.

In my defense I've been pretty good about the cardio. We have a hampster wheel in the spare bedroom. Oh I'm sorry, it's called an "elliptical machine." Whatever. I still feel like a hampster. I've lost a little weight doing that, and cutting down on the junk food, but I still can't shake the chocolate addiction.

Strike starting now. Over the past month I proved that with discipline I can lose weight as I lost 18 ½ pounds based on diet alone. (It was 20 but !@#$ing cheat day caused me to gain a pound and half.) I still need to get my other goals done though and I’ve made no progress towards those whatsoever. The reason why not posting on YABS correlates to me not achieving is because my problems arise of knowing what to do, but not having the discipline and follow through to get it done. By not posting, when all I want to do is post, I am developing the skills needed to follow through on my other goals. So I guess I will see you guys sometime in the summer, because I won’t even be lurking after this

So bored at work today, I decided what would bizarro YABS be like, here's what I've come up with so far:

Bizarro....

Bree: butcher i.e. actually sells kidneys and other assorted meat parts (not human of course).

Aggie: sweet and innocent (think sabrinaset3), every post must be explained to her (never knows where quotes are from).

Jack: pious priest. No women or booze

Lester: Articulate and very wise. Has unhealthy love for Plato and Confucius. Once donated hundreds of philosophy books to a library.

Heystacy: troll of the boards. Complains about everything and everyone. Loves to drink warm milk.

Hybrid: poster extraordinaire. Seems like not a minute goes by without him posting something.

gladdy: angry, rude and very violent. only one eye colour (possibly only one eye from all the fighting)

cam: english snob. Loves tea and looks down at beer drinkers (and everyone else for that matter).

beetlebum: dumb blonde.

So am I close? off the mark?

And now, take a moment with me to sing the praises of Zithromax!

Seriously, this morning, I couldn't breathe or swallow without gagging over the swelling in my throat (why, oh why, do I still have tonsils?) and my temp stayed at 102.

As of now, my throat is no longer swollen, I can breathe (mostly), and my temp's been normal for several hours.

YAY!

You guys will have to do the actual singing, though, I don't think my throat's quite up to that yet.

Whoever came up with the Z-pak is a freaking genius.

WOW Glad u r feeling better.

Seriously, the z-pak is the greatest antibiotic invention since bleu cheese. You take two the first day, one each for four more days, and it keeps working for several days after that. No dosing schedules to worry about, and the side effects are practically nonexistent.

It's a little expensive (like $20 with insurance), but TOTALLY worth it.

I haven't talked much with Briareos and avoid political threads so I'll take your word for it.
