Late July would be San Diego Comic-Con, if you're interested...

Really? I definitely want to get down to Wonder-Con which I believe is around June/July and if SDCC is around the same time...yeah, summer is looking like the time to come to the states to me.

It's the spirit of giving!

I got the results of my morning final from yesterday on blackboard. I got a 69/70 which is almost a perfect score and floored me because I wasn't that confident as I took the damn thing.

I rest my case that you were worrying for nothing.

Congrats.

Unless of course I stay in the states for 4 months. Which, I'll admit, I'd be willing to do if it meant more time with you guys:redface:

I envy your fortitude. If I had to watch it again I think the only thing getting a break down would be me!

It's a good thing for me most of the time. Writing about films does make me aware when I am writing screenplays.

However, where my family and friends can enjoy, say Transformers two, the story structure alone is an abomination!

Won't even think about film form.

The contrast between the high tech vampires, and the lower class lychans fascinated me.
While the vampires became upscale, posh, and advanced, the lychans were grime, unsophisticated, and cunning.

The love story felt less taboo and more like a plot point. I still love Kraven for his treacherous nature.

It seems to be a common thing though with Vamps and Werewolves doesn't it? Vampires are generally refined, cultured, urbane...even sexy in most cases. Whereas Werwolves are feral, savage, snarling brutes

I find the werewolf to be a fascinating creature. I do like the feral aspects. I like the dichotomy between human nature and the release of control/inhibitions.

I'd love to see a majestic werewolf. Be kinda cool. I wonder what it would mean to him/her to change.

Well, like Vampires there's many breeds of Werewolves. There's homids and lupus. Homids are Garou that are born in human form and Lupus are Garous born in wolf form. Then you have Metis Garou who are born of 2 Garou parents but those are forbidden as it is part of Garou law. Overall, they're the true Children of Gaia.

Ok...I used to play World of Darkness stuff and loved playing Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

Good assessment. In Underworld and Blade there were generation rebellions and virus born vampires.

In Underworld Viktor "adjusted" vampire history to meet his own needs. Kraven attempted to unseat Viktor with the aid of Lucien, a lychan in spite of the ages old feuds.

In Blade Deacon Frost's contempt for the older pure blood vampires lead to his hostile takeover.

I thin we have some of the World of Darkness books in the library.

Odd fact: In Bram Stoker's Dracula (Coppola film) Dracula can become a werewold/beast creture, which he uses to indulge his urges.

Yes, we Garou know our history and that were connected to the Earth. Vampires like N'Bushe's character says about Deacon Frost
"A born vampire would have the power to regenerate from birth. You must've gotten scarred before you were turned. Isn't that right? Vampires like you aren't a species. You're just infected, a virus, a sexually transmitted disease"

Some of the WOD books are good. The rest feel like fanwank.

I haven't seen that film since it came out. All I remember is Keanu's attempt to act, Oldman doing a great job, Moncia Bellucci's breasts, and Tom Waits being the best Renfield ever commited on celluloid.

I'm used to it. But this is with the whole moving to the new place and not all the furniture is there so it'll be a little bit more extra lonely. I'll most likely work out in the morning and then just figure something out. I know the holidays are meant to be with loved ones and family but no family to be around sucks. And I'd feel like a jerk trying to finagle my way into someone's home just for the sake company.

Yeah they are, and we both agree. His mother is nuts, one of these days she's going to walk into our house seeing something she shouldn't because she just lets herself into our room and everything. >.<

Really that's just asking for trouble on her part:tongue:

My parents always knew better than to enter my room without asking. Then again according to my sis I was so loud it was impossible for them not to know when not to come in:eek:

PS3 is very media savvy. I bought one for my birthday. I need to play more games on this thing. Have Street Fighter, Wet, and Batman.
