She's a very sweet and very funny woman

Sounds like almost every woman in my family...
Yay! You got to love them.
Glad you had someone like that.

I lived with her for close to four years after being kicked out of my home because shockingly, druggings and abuse hadn't cured me of my sinful lesbian urges.

Shocking!

Sorry to hear you had to go through all that.
But at least it had a happy ending. Glad you don't have to put up with that anymore.

She had some of the funniest stories about her past...it was colourful to say the least. And most of it utterly unrepeatable:smile:

Well, maybe not quite like my family.
Then again they get crazier as I get older...

And that's fine if you'd rather deal with your issues on your own sweetie. Just know if you ever change your mind the offer stands

I believe family is a loose term really. It can apply to blood relatives, but it can be much wider in it's meaning as well.

*Hugs* Sorry you're all on edge tonight honey. Any reason or is it just the way you're feeling?

Femmy, if I had reasons, I'd be happier about it.
And speaking of which, I got happy for no reason about a minute ago.

Mood swings aren't supposed to work like that. And it's only on some occasions. I can go days normal. Then one day out of the blue, it's a weird up and down roller-coaster where one minute, happy, next, angry, next sad, next happy again. And I can feel myself starting to feel down again! What is up with that?

And like I said, it doesn't happen all the time. Well, I'm usually in a middle state between okay and depressed anyways, but that odd middle ground is my normal so no big. But when it does, it's all crazy and I never know what I'll feel like moment to moment. And of course, how I'm feeling and how I act are unrelated. Like I said, I used to be major depressed and wanted no one to know, so I got good at acting the same odd way at all times. Plus I make it a rule never to say anything relevant, and a lot of my life's an odd act (really, the way I type and post is the way I act, and no one is like that all the time, but it's the way I'm used to. If I acted the way I feel, I'd be more of the strong silent type. And when you're silent, people ask questions, hence, crazy Vak all the time in real life). So on some days I feel like my emotions are going plumb loco, and meanwhile I'm for all appearances the same, because that's the way I've forced myself to act so long I can't not act that way.

God that was a lot off my chest. And now the angry music on the radio is making me sad. God I hate these weird moments.><

This has been one awful work week. Everything from schedule changes, personality clashes, and truly, suspect behavior. So now, I plan on de-stressing, cause people is cray-zay!!!

If you're like most people you've sought refuge from this situation by trying a quick fix or two like calling a friend, walking the dog, or going away for the weekend in an attempt to escape it all - but helps actually! haha

Just enjoy the weekend & soon will be weekend again! yeepey how i love waking up late on saturdays & sundays!! zzzzzz

If you want to be happier and destress, focus on the things you have the power to control.

I've been playing a few forum based RPGs on other forums. And I discovered something. If your character is a crazy, cranky, witty badass with a penchant for getting hurt a lot in battle while still managing to take down the bad guys, no one cares how outrageous the things you do get, cause at a certain point you're pretty much playing an action movie hero, and using a helicopter as a weapon or shooting a bazooka is just par for the course. And cause he's the most injured, bloody guy on the team, no one thinks you're power gaming.

I think it's called the Die Hard effect. Or maybe the A Team effect.

Grats!

Sadly, my comic day is Saturday, when my books arrive from Texas. So i have to be careful about spoilers until then. Plus it is the Holiday season, so my books may not arrive until Monday. Gah.

All you can eat?? I can not eat much anymore. Sadly my health issues interfere with this. I usually eat one large meal a day, with the few snacks inbetween. Cheeseburgers really are my friend now. One is usually all i care to eat.

I have to be very careful of foods. Ramen noodles are off limits to me mostly as every single packet included with them is full of garlic, which will make me sick. The noodles taste awful without the seasoning. I also shy away from spicy foods as well. I never understood the concept of hurting your tastebuds as enjoyment.

Coughing is perhaps the most draining of exercises, and I wouldn't recommend it.
Meanwhile, cough medicine remains bitter, and cough spray isn't all that great either.
In times like these, I wish I had earlier in the day, before the shopping was done, "Lozenges."

And outside of coughing and horrid sinus headaches, I don't even feel sick. Which is good, but outside of blaming weather and just my sinuses in general, and taking sinus pills and cough medicine (which honestly, doesn't seem to be working in slightest), I seem to have nothing else to do to combat it.

Personally YABS, I blame you.

Well Lasseter when back to the basics and made it a musical. This is why it'll blow fucking doors down in the box office. Look at the past few 2D Disney films... Brother Bear, that one with the barnyard animals, Treasure Planet. No music ala Alan Menken. This was top notch all the way through.

I got to see an advanced screening of The Princess & The Frog on the Disney studio lot this afternoon. Oh man, what a wonderful film that was. Disney got it right... 2D is always better than CG. Also, I got to meet a few of the animators and was presented with an original cell from the movie!

How fucking cool is that!

Personally, I find both 2D and CG to have equal merits. But CG has just gotten so much over exposure and people make 2D out to be old hat and useless these days, which it is not.

Yeah. This trainer is like 'super trainer to Hollywood'. Hell, he even trains Diane Nelson (the new head of DC Entertainment). I told him to hook me up with her for a possible job, as he knows I'm a huge comic nerd.

God, the Sherlock Holmes fans seem really crazy about the movie. It's a two minute preview showing all the extreme scenes to catch the masses. There's nothing to indicate that Holmes won't be using his deduction, or that he's acting more Watson-like. It's kind of funny and sad that the delve that into a movie that hasn't even come out yet trying to find out the flaws before hand.
