Yep. It's called Race You To the Bottom which is a name so bad that no matter how good it might be, it could NEVER make up for.

Can I just say I'm sick of shitty homocentric entertainment sticking double entendres in their titles? It isn’t witty, it’s just stupid.

So, this is the place for me to rant and rave and destress, right? Okay!

It starts like this. The princess's half-grown kitten, who I've already paid an arm and a leg to have spayed and catch up on her shots and such, got what is known around here as a wolf worm in her chin. For those of you with less entomological knowledge than I've had forced on me, a "wolf worm" is actually the larva of a bot fly, which burrows into an animal's skin and makes itself nice and cozy. The presence of said creature can cause all sorts of nasty infections.

Well, I got the thing out, only to find out that removing them, if you're not a professional, can be just as dangerous and actually worse, than leaving them alone. So, even though I held the damn kitten down and liberally cleaned out the hole left behind by the worm with peroxide and then treated it with antibiotic ointment, I thought it best to take her to the vet.

And, indeed, she does have a low grade infection. So, add 10 days of antibiotics to the vet bill along with the exam.

But wait, it gets worse! The vet listens to her heart as part of the exam and passes ME the stethoscope. Come to find out, the thing has a heart murmur. Said murmur may or may not be dangerous, but what it does mean is that I have to somehow manage to limit the cat's activity level.

Now, I have two cats. One, the older one, is at least part throw rug. He's one of those cats that LOVES everybody. He's part Siamese and very vocal. The animal actually ASKS permission to jump up in your lap. He's also 5 years old and we've had him since I could fit his now-13 pound bulk in the palm of my hand. Needless to say, I love him and couldn't part with him for the world.

I also have a parakeet. And he's pretty awesome, himself. He whistles back at you and loves to chatter.

Both of these animals have more personality than the kitten. She's a brat. AND she a) tries to get the parakeet on a regular basis (we have to lock him away from her when we're out of town and b) fights with the older cat constantly. We've had her for 8 months and they've never gotten along. It's so bad that when one cat's in, the other one has to go out.

Well, now, the vet tells me that she needs to be an inside only cat. Which leaves me with two options - either get rid of my other animals or find another home for the kitten. Needless to say, I'm not willing to go with the first option and the second option will break the kid's heart.

Oh, and the bill for finding out that she has a heart problem? $100. God only knows how much more it will end up costing me. My other cat's never cost me more than his shots and the one-time neutering fee.

Well her whole speach was about how she wanted to make Pride more open to everyone and include everyone. And how it shouldn't have the reputation of being a gay organization.

She's ambitiously changing the groups dynamics. How was she received?

There used to be a joke about how so many people wanted to join the Gay group at one our universities that they devised a test to see if you were "gay enough" to join:

Hold a full martini in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Now, tell a dramatic story. If you're gay enough, you'll manage to convey the full drama of the story - complete with hand motions - without either spilling a drop of the martini or dropping ashes on the floor.

If either of those things happens, or you have to limit your hand motions - you're not gay enough to join.

Are those the only two options? Because I don't understand why you couldn't keep all of your pets. Is it that the other animals provide too much stimulation and cause the kitten to exhert herself? Is the kitten showing any symptoms of the heart murmur? Heart murmurs will sometime fix themselves over time. Also, as for the kitten being a brat, she might grow out of that too once the novelty of having two older siblings wears off. The only long pet that she would probably never reconcil with is your bird. You're really lucky that your other cats are so well behaved because that quite a tempation.;)

Let me guess, this is a smaller shop that doesn't do many big repairs, ie transmissions, but they do change and rotate tires there? I say that because most of this sounds like fluff to me.

The Camber is used to prolong the life of tires-not necessarily a big deal. Alignment is important but tons of people are driving around without correct alignment and don't even know it. Where you really notice bad alignment is more wear on your tires because you're always correcting your car straight. Tires-unless they're onion skins, aren't something that should prevent your trip. If it was winter I'd be more concerned.

And high mount bulbs? Are you ones you have even burned out?

It's possible that your car is falling apart and you do need all this before going on the road, but I'm always very wary of mechanics.

This is the dealership for Saturn. They are high priced and obnoxious. I rarely get my oil done there, but the Jiffy Lube guys can't rest my oil and coolant alarms proper, therefore those go off when they please. Makes things nerve wracking while driving. Steams my confidence bit by bit.

My car is a 2001, but it only has 65,000 miles on it. The biggest trip I take is to Charleston and back during the winter holidays.

The dealership was going to be my second guess.;)
They make the alarms difficult to reset so that you have to come to them eventually. Oh, and also they see that you have over 60 000 miles on your car and that is one of the benchmarks that they have a list of what 'should' be replaced. You must have had a tune up not too long ago, otherwise they would have wanted to change your spark plugs too.:D

I did have a tune up recently. Like I said the car doesn't go too many places. It's sad because I am waaaay to trusting, however not silly enough to pay 665 on the spot without getting a second opinion.

I need to look for a new garage..

last time i went to my usual place. It was just to change my tires from the winter to 4 season one.

The guy did a oil change, without asking me... and said i needed to get the front table fix.(no idea if those are call the same in english ) the things that hold the weels in place.

He kept hiting it and make it shake. Was told it would cost over 500$

Right after,my car was acting weird.wanting to go left. It's better now.
But the car was ok BEFORE I went to the garage.

AND! I asked them to fix a small peice that broke, the thing that direct my window washer. and they never called back.
I need to clean my window right.not have the water go up in the air...

Well, since my bro was like you can get the changes done cheaply, I called the local tire/transmission place and headed on over. They told me for 19.00 they will inspect the car and let me know the price if parts needed to be replaced.

Now I loathe the dealership service because at the local place, I was told me all I need is an alignment. The car is fine. So, I paid $70.00 for the alignment, and the car is good to go. The local place will be doing my oil changes and whatever issues my car may have in the future.

Thanks again to everyone who listened to how awful my vacation was going to be. LOL

This one time, I was on a cruise ship, and I had just gotten the cabin boy, or captain or someone to get me a soda, when I realized that my date the talcum powder model hadn't shown up. Hey you! :D

Good song.

Hey you, I'm in love with your eyes
And the sound of your name
Hey you, I'm in love with your smile
And the way you're dressed today

Hey you, well I like the way you walk
Just like a star moves on stage
Hey you, well I like the way you talk
You're really calm for your age

I really die, you're driving me wild
I really die, I'm in love 100 times
I really die, you're driving me wild
I really die, I'm in love 100 times to be your lover

Hey you, I said you know what's going on
Do you know what I mean?
Hey you, daddy wants you back home
This school is up to me

I really die, you're driving me wild
I really die, I'm in love 100 times
I really die, you're driving me wild
I really die, I'm in love 100 times to be your lover
