It only makes Daddy read up on it more hehe! He actually has about eighty or so hip-hop CD's here ... between Mom and him, they have over 2000 CD's ... I mean, they still have all their records from when they were in high school!

Yesterday, I got mistaken for a Cuban so that's progress I suppose. What happened is that the clerk at the grocery store started speaking to me in Spanish. I always have this happen at least once every summer, so I politely told him I only speak English. He then gave me a lecture it's a shame that some Cuban parents don't take the time to teach their kids Spanish. He would have went on, if there weren't people behind me, and I hauled ass out the door. Last time this summer I'm going to the Mexican store to get my dad his quarter pastries.

My skin color gets slightly darker each year as I'm won't be quite as light next winter than I was last winter. As a result I had no one mistaking me for Hispanic when I was in 15, not even during the summer when I'm at my darkest.
