If you could make your own Supergroup and have them be in their primes. Who would be in it, and what would they be called?

The Mad Gods of Rot 'N' Roll...

David Bowie: Vocals, Keyboards, Sax, Guitar

Ed Mann (percussion/Synclavier/vocals)

Keith Moon: Drums

Pete Townsend: Guitar

Jimmy Page: Guitar

John Lord: Keyboards

Sir Patrick Moore: Xylophone, Glockenspiel

Brian Wilson: Bass, Vocals, Piano.

Jimmi Hendrix: Guitar, Vocals.

They'd all be about 30 years old.

They'd be called. The Mad Gods of Rock 'n' Roll.

They'd write a bunch of tunes together and covers would include: Helter Skelter, Beatles. Suspicious Minds, Elvis. A Quick One While He's Away, The Who. Queen of the Streets, The Stranglers. Have a Cigar, Pink Floyd. Sympathy for the Devil, Rolling Stones. Knocking On Heavens Door, Bob Dylan.

Piano: James Booker
Drums: Donald "Duck" Dunn

I doubt the session would last for even an hour, but that'd be some amazing music produced in the meantime.

he's got an anger to him. he's in tune nowadays. i dunno, i find these bitter grumpy men to be the most immersive singers. i can throw in a neville or sam cooke if it helps :D i don't have any women, but well, bonnie raitt and emily remler deserve spots too. and probably a whole lot of other people, but i like my band as it is too.

plus, it's nice to have an "ultimate band" list where everyone's around to do it. it could theoretically happen.

With Duck Dunn wondering why in the hell he's sitting at the trap set while Mingus doodles on the bass, this session wouldn't last fifteen minutes.

I of course meant Al Jackson, Jr. on drums. But a bass-off between Duck and Mingus would be pretty cool too.
