These are the first two pages of a new comic I am working on which I am going to post here for constructive critism before I publish it.
The bumpf that goes at the begining on the comic will read something like this:

'It is 1961 and a new hero has been born in the shape of Holy Jo. Young, idealistic and with a clear sense of right and wrong, he should be the perfect super-hero, Britain's savour from all that is evil. Shouldn't he...?'

These two pages are in a different style to most of the comic, as you will see when I publish some more pages.

Generally speaking it's not a good idea to let readers in on what's going on behind the scenes before the story has even started. But you may have a reason for doing so.
The art style isn't typical of comics but i think you're going for parody anyway so that might not pose a problem.

Your right, the begining section is parodyish it will become clearly as the story unfolds. There is a reason for outlining the story at the begining.
