Sorry to make a new thread as my first post, but I'm afraid I'm left with little choice. After watching Blood & Iron (and loving it), a friend pointed me toward a blog entry written by Tad Stones concerning the fate of the third movie. I was very disappointed to read the third movie might not enter production if sales of the second DVD don't outperform the first - something that doesn't happen often. So, I decided to do something minor, and you fellow Hellboy fans can help.

Go to this link, and if you have a digg account, digg the article. If you don't have a digg account, it only takes fifteen seconds to make one and your assistance will be very appreciated. Once the article receives a certain amount of diggs (usually 20-50), it will go on the front page and escalate from there.
For those of you who aren't familiar with digg, it is a very large user-driven website where individuals submit news stories and vote upon other news stories (digg or bury) to act as a filter for what is appropriate or entertaining. Front page news stories tend to spread across blogs and receive a lot of attention. The community there is very invested in the idea of people on the internet holding the power to influence the media, and this article will play in perfectly with that. It just needs a little push in the right direction.
Here's to hoping we get The Phantom Claw. :)
