I do not recall much and cannot pin point the issues, but didn't Baron Zemo make an offer to Captain America for his help. Something about he can't win, without him. And I don't think that ever really got resolved and I have no idea where Baron Zemo went to.

But if there is a person who could outwit everybody on the stage of an actual death, Zemo is certainly a top ranker. Zemo also wanted to prove himself and I think there was mystical forces saying he would redeem himself in the future. But then he's gone, Thunderbolts moved on and Captain America is dead.

I won't give DC all the credit for thinking ahead and having complex storylines set up months even years before they go down in a big way from a little trickle, but Zemo, Red Skull and Captain America And all the rest of that 60's/70's era stuff that and eveything going on in Captain America it is certain Steve Rogers is dead. Everybody speculating on when he will be back and how, so I am tossing my 2 cents in and with some hlpe on people who know what happened to Zemo..

.. that Baron Zemo is the one who brings Captain America back and had already started weeks before his death actually happened.

Check out the just completed 4 issue mini "Baron Zemo: Born Better" by Fabian Nicieza if you want to know where the good Baron is these days. Or you could wait a couple of months for the trade that is coming out.

In any event, Zemo is and was in no position to help Captain America come back from the dead, sadly.

I read the Born Better books, and I'm wondering what's next for Zemo. I wonder if he'll show up in the Thunderbolts again.

More to the point, the death of Cap is a Cap storyline, not a crossover thing. However he comes back, it's been set up in his own book. It's not going to be some kind of out of left field thing where the Hulk appeals to the Shaper of Worlds to bring him back or something.

Don't count that out at all d00d, it's fricken Marvel. One of the funniest thing I've heard is this won't be a crossover issue, it's all Captain America. Well to that end, Red Skull has been plotting this for a long time. It's clear Red Skull is behind all that happened to Captain America and his death. Red Skull took him away and will bring him back. Nuff Said cause that's a Captain America thing. BORING !!!!!!!!!

Comic geeks are so high strung.
