Question about Legion of Superheroes OYL

On recommendation from my friend, I bought the first 2 tpbs of Waid & Kitson's Legion of Superheroes. I've been enjoying it so far. My question is, should I continue on with the next volumes when it switches to Supergirl & The LOSH?

On recommendation from my friend, I bought the first 2 tpbs of Waid & Kitson's Legion of Superheroes. I've been enjoying it so far. My question is, should I continue on with the next volumes when it switches to Supergirl & The LOSH?

I've bought every issue so far, but I wish that I had stopped as soon as Supergirl showed up. Supergirl herself wasn't a problem, but the overall quality of the title definitely dropped around the time that she joined the team. There were brief flashes of quality after that, but overall the book never returned to the level it was at during the first dozen issues or so.

I actully hated alot of the book before Supergirl. After she came aboard the book got better for a short while, but Waid just kept going and going with his lame take on the Dominators and the war with them. He took 15 issues to tell a story that was not exciting enough for 6. Plus a Dominators War story has already been done twice before in the Legion books, and both time it was 10 times better than what Waid put out.

If you liked the first 2 volumes you will probably enjoy the rest, but none if it is that great.

i'm the same way. I hated it before Supergirl. And while I don't love it now, it has improved quite a bit and the latest issue has been the best so far.

It HAS been really stretched out, and I'm a longtime Legion fan. I'm hoping it picks up soon.
