And how will that affect thier standing in the world

I mean will the public still accept Stark as head of shiled

will this HELP or HURT the NEW WARRIORS message

would the pubic worried there this uber powerfull group guiding world events secretly

think it could go either way

depends on how much exposed

People may mistrust prof X a bit more. Thing is this doesnt just affect the PRO registration guys. Sense they got guys on both sides

They're probably all exposed, at least on Hulk launching and that they actually existed as a secret cabal.

As for how people will receive this news: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=10610

"The "Illuminati" have faced some big challenges throughout their mini-series but nothing like the challenges they face in issue #5, which takes place in present day and has the group dealing with the rest of the heroes in the Marvel Universe, and they're all pretty angry. "Issue #5 is where the bomb drops," Reed stated. "Everybody finds out what these guys have been doing and it's a big set up for next year's kind of Universe wide story."

I'd say some people will probably be pissed. I can see the government being angered since they fancy themselves on manipulating and controlling others, not vice versa. And the people might be pissed that a mutie was among them, I don't know. Their fellow heroes and immediate family will probably be the most pissed.

The Public will like what they did.

The Heroes won't the majority of the Public will be fine with it.

Also their not guiding world events, their not that Illuminati.

They deal with the conquences of the Heroes actions.

They deal with the conquences of the Heroes actions. The key difference between the public backing a SHRA passed by Congress and the public backing a secret cabal of 7 unelected people trying to influence world events, is pretty astounding.

The Illuminati is every conspiracy nut's dream and I can't imagine the public going for it in a good way.

Six. The Black Panther backed out during the group's formation.

I concur, however I don't see the public crying over the Hulk being launched into space. I do not think anyone is gonna be a big fan, however that being said... the public loves Reed and Stark, this might help the opinion some.

I agree and I'm still confuse as to where issue #5 of the mini series falls.

I agree and I'm still confuse as to where issue #5 of the mini series falls. :mad:Seriously. Issue Illuminati #5 of this won't be coming out until September. It would seem from the previews that the Hulk reveals Reed, Tony, Black Bolt, and Strange secretly worked together to exile him. And at least by the time WWH: X-men starts he is fully aware of the existence of the Illuminati. Unless the Hulk is MUCH better at keeping his enemies' secrets than I think he is, I would think the Illuminati issue has to take place sometime near the beginning of WWH.

I was thinking the exact same thing, and besides Bendis did, and I repeat DID, plant the seeds that would cause World War Hulk in his Illuminati one-shot.

So I was hoping, that Like how he began and ended Civil War, that he would do the same thing for World War Hulk.
